I wish I could give better then an average to this place! If score was based on the camp's insides alone it would be a 6! The bath facilities are sooo clean! The sites are well groomed although a hair on the small side. The probable is the location. Its right off the highway so that's not a problem. But... More

The first night we stayed, there was a domestic disturbance at a cabin by our campsite. 911 was called and 3 state troopers arrived. For a "family camping resort" this was uncalled for. The staff stated they had spoken to the people involved and the gentlemen was gone. We saw him walking around the campground later that morning! Also, my... More

Leave tomorrow after 5 nights in our Class A Motorhome. Loved site 88, a wooded, cozy, private site (most are in the open and somewhat close together) not far from a very nice bathhouse. There are actual 3 pools: tots, families and adult. At least the last two are heated. Lots for families to do, but location is terrific for... More

Hickory Hill is a stunning campground. Grounds are beautiful, sites are large, lots for kids and families to do. 2 large swimming pools, daily and nightly planned activities, clean restrooms and bath house. I have nothing but great things to say except the wifi is very spotty. If that is the only negative then this place gets a 4.999. We... More

Love staying here once a year as a treat for our child. Accommodating and activity filled. Lots of kids and a bit hectic but we can handle it for one weekend! Keeps kids very busy! Clean facilities. Staff seems to be made up of mostly campers but still a friendly place.

Our family camped here in our trailer the weekend of 8/1/13 to 8/3/14. The place is a good size and sites are clean and grassy. There is three pools and many activities to keep the kids busy. Some activities are a price but they strive to make the weekends fun with themes. Overall a nice stay and would come back... More

Stayed at the Hickory Hill Resort this past weekend for the Halloween Special. We rented the five cabins located in their own section, Cabins 501 to 505. We were five families, some with small children. The location is perfect. The weather was on our side this weekend with cool evenings--a good campfire keep the spirits warm. The cabins are clean... We have camped there for over ten years on Memorial Day and Labor Day and it has always been awesome! The park Manager, Rosemary, she always gone out of her way to help us even when we broke the rules or were a little loud! We look forward to every visit on these weekends as the Tailor Made Band is... More
