Another well well run lodge by CC Africa. The huts were comfortable but the hot water didn't work in the one shared by my wife and daughter. Mine did so I became quite popular. Arrived by way of a light aircraft to the landing strip at Sandibe, to be met by Batswalawang or BT for short! The drive to the camp included our first sighting of big cats - 2 male lions! The camp is luxurious with a plunge pool and wildlife through the camp. The rooms are wonderful with everything you could want... more

This was a dream fullfilled - having been born and brought up in Zimbabwe and lived 23 years in South Africa, I have always wanted to visit the Okavango but couldnt ever afford to! Sandibe is an outstanding CCAfrica property on the Santandibe River in the Okavango Delta. I was greeted by the Assistant Manager and my butler(!) with damp towels and a refreshing fruit drink. The paperwork was almost nil. They made me feel welcome and explained the camp routine and layout. I was then shown to my bungalow, where my luggage awaited.... more

Our first safari in Africa and it was a dream. We stayed at the CCafrica lodges Sandibe and Nxabega camp but SANDIBE is really our favourite camp. A nice cosy small camp in the Okavango delta with beautifull lodges with an outdoor shower and where elefants are walking around (also one time in the camp). Great staff and good food.... more
