We stayed in Nxabega as part of a big trip to Botswana. It was the most beautiful location we stayed in --- and we could have stared at the scenery for hours. The game drives were amazing through the "bridges" in the water and seeing the crocodiles and lots and lots of elephants - including ones that came into the... more

What can I say, this was our last lodge in Botswana and it did not disappoint us, fantastic game drives with brilliant guides. Our tent was lovely, we were fed wonderful food at every opportunity from porridge with whisky and cream early morning to delicious canapes and dinners at night. Sundowners on the Delta with a sunset to die for,... more

Only the highest praise will do. My “luxury” tent was more than worthy of the label. The staff were attentive, friendly and competent, the food was good, and the facilities superb. The activities offered were varied, well organised and well executed. Sundowners on the Okavango Delta were an absolutely unforgettable experience. more

Operated by Conservation Corporation of Africa, "CC Africa", this camp is well run, maintained and clean... for the bush anyway. Hot showers, flush toilets, even use of the somewhat slow satellite linked Internet make this anything but primitive. During our July 07 visit we found abundant bird life but game was limited to the usual giraffes, elephants, kudu, etc. but... more

Cannot recommend CC Africa highly enough!! The Nxabega camp site (on the same property as the lodge) has an amazing staff, fresh bread baked over the campfire, hippos out the door of one's tent, flush pit toilets (!!). What a fabulous place. We camped at Nxabega as part of our 10 day camping safari with CC Africa. Excellent naturalist guides... more

We are a family of five who travel alot and just returned from a two week trip. We all agree that Nxabega Safari Camp was fantastic! The surroundings were lovely and the permanent tents were better than expected. Yes, the pool was a little small - but who goes on an African safari for the pool??? By the way a... more

Compared to other camps we have visited we were disappointed with Nxabega. The whole place looked like it needed a refurb(the pool is terrible, basically a plastic sack in a hole), and even the new tents(which were comfortable) just had a shower cubicle stuck at the end of them inside the tent rather than outside. Wildlife was good(altho no big... more

This was the second camp in the CC Africa group we visited on our Okavango visit. It is more luxurious and upmarket than the sister camp, Sandibe. The outlook over the delta is super and one certainly has a good idea of the seasonal flood plains and permanent water here, but you also have the benefit of being able to... more

I recently returned home for a 2 week South African Safari that was nothing short of WONDERFUL!!!! The safari was thru CC Africa and if you are contemplating a safari it would be in your best interest to not only look them up, but go thru them!!!! They have been in business for 30+ years, all their guides are local... more

The previous reviewed described their experience in much more detail than I plan to, but I concur with their sentiments. My husband and I were quite impressed with 3 CC Africa Tanzania camps and opted to try Nxabega. This was the rainy season and it did rain about half the time, which pretty much precludes cat viewing, which we love.... more
