The experience at Zarafa will be something I will cherish forever. It felt like I was on an expedition with David Livingston but with all the creature comforts one would expect from a Relais & Chateaux lodge. The staff attentiveness was fantastic, the wild beautiful surroundings were magical and the dining experiences wonderful. A luxurious safari experience in a wild... More

We are a family of 7 (grandparents, parents, children 8,11,15), who spent 3 wonderful but too short days and nights at Zarafa Camp in June, 2014. It was the most incredible time of our lives thus far. Parents and children were among the very first guests to experience the truly luxurious surroundings of the Dhow Suite, while grandparents found their... More

Zarafa Camp was my third and final camp during my 2 week visit to the Okavango Delta. Saved the best for last! I think what makes Zarafa so special is that I felt it was created by people who truly have a deep love for this place and are seeking to share that love of place with the guests rather... More

Dear Joanne, You simply must return one day! It was an absolute pleasure having you at Zarafa and we would like to thank you for sharing this lovely review with the Tripadvisor community. The solution to the terrible dilemma of "staying" in the tent and relaxing or going on an adventure with Obi is surprisingly easy to solve - stay... More

Zarafa Camp impressed us in every way. Starting from the luxurious and stylish tents, to the food prepared with care by Katherine who pampered us non-stop with her delicious recipes and the attention to detail of the manager Mel. We were happy since the moment we were awakened with those lovely cookies, to the breakfast "on the go" , the... More

We just loved our stay at Zarafa. The camp is wonderfully intimate, the tents wonderfully large, the management and staff all very nice and energetic persons and the food is seriously good (thanks Katherine for all that wonderful food and the best muesli recipe ever!). The camp's position overlooking a lagoon is dream-like; make sure you are back in camp... More

i can't say enough good things about the Zarafa team, from the camp managers, to the guides, to the chef, to the rest of the staff. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, if not luxurious. The private rooms have many special features, including a plunge pool, reasonably good wifi (although having wifi can be a two-edged sword if one is... More

We loved this place. The energy of the three hosts, the food, the ambiance! They made us feel at home immediately. Their wonderful energy spreads throughout all the guests and everyone responds warmly. The photographic advice you get here is valuable and unparalleled. .

From my son Charlie who visited Zarafa: My experience at Zarafa was one I will remember forever. They had incredibly helpful staff and fantastically comfortable and luxurious rooms. But most of all, the overwhelming quantity of wildlife was magnificent. You could approach wildlife very closely, and the variety was enormous. To give you an idea, in one day we saw... More

Everything about this family adventure was extraordinary. While Zarafa's accommodations are lovely they had the least amount of animals viewed in the five camps we visited in Botswana. One of the managers, Marine was the most rude, impudent person I have ever meet. She ruined our stay there and I would not recommend this camp to anyone.
