Camp was gorgeous and wildlife viewing was amazing. We went to Kruger also and I definitely preferred Botswana - for the most part, untouched by mankind. Rueben was an excellent guide. Food was incredible. Staff was very polite and helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience. We will hopefully be back!!

I have recently returned from a Safari holiday in Botswana staying at the opulent Zarafa Camp. Four luxurious Meru style tents overlook the Zabadianja Lagoon, surrounding a central area where guests gather for Lunch/Dinner and to watch the amazing sunsets. Guests have the option of spending an afternoon on Zarafa's boat cruising on the Lagoon which can make a pleasant... More

A remarkable experience. The camp is just stunning in both design and location, the wildlife viewing was exceptional. Sundowners watching a pride of lions, relaxing mornings watching and listening to groups of elephants in all directions, the excitement of following the wild dogs and finally seeing the pack together, eating, playing, hearing all the vocal interaction. The staff are wonderful. Lets... More

Such a beautiful place! I wish we had longer to just enjoy the surroundings. The staff were so amazing to us and all the guests. We absolutely felt like Willem and Annabel were old friends within moments of meeting them and so enjoyed taking with them at meals. Game drives were amazing! Thank you Reuban for taking us hunting with... More

There are places that indulge your fantasies and there are place that create them, presenting something you never even imagined possible. Zarafa is such a place. From the minute we walked up the steps to the Dhow Suites to behold a spectacular African panorama of the lagoon on which this gorgeous “tent” sits, we knew we were in for four... More

Once you have stayed at Zarafa everything else in the safari world will be downscale! The tents are huge, the appointments tasteful, the service is just so warm and friendly and remarkably they anticipate your desires! The managers and the chef just went out of their way to accommodate our desire to spend the whole day out in the bush... More

How do describe heaven on earth? Zarafa! I had a absolutely incredible 3 night stay at Zarafa. The staff, the guide, the food were all top notch. The accommodations were luxurious and beautiful. Annabelle was so personable and fun, I felt like I'd known her for years. OB is an incredible guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided an amazing... More

Our four night stay at Zarafa was excellent! The small size of the camp - only four tents - coupled with the warmth and personal attention of the staff - made this an unforgettable experience. Katherine and her culinary team prepare delicious and healthy food and then you get the bonus of spending some time with the engaging chef herself.... More

What an experience! This is the ultimate way to do a 'camping trip'.From the location of the luxurious tents to the lunch setting on a boat has being amazing. The Rangers are knowledgable about the wildlife, the area and improving photographic skills. The attention to detail has to be experienced as words do it no justice. Large plains and open tracts...
