We stayed here for two nights in mid May of 2014. Our guide and tracker met us at the airstrip on arrival and we immediately were driven to the camp for an abridged introduction as it was time for tea and the afternoon game drive. After a tasty snack and the requisite, “What would you like for sundowner?” question, we... More

I was with a photography group and his camp was perfect for what we wanted. The guides made a point to position vehicles for best photo lighting and could not do enough to make certain we saw as much as possible. Chasing through the bush after a leopard sighting, sitting there for an hour to watch her hunt and eat... More

An amazing place, small and friendly staff who work as a team. Breakfast round the campfire followed by wonderful game drives. The rooms are incredible spacious clean and very comfortable, the meals were excellent and there we always a warm welcome from Bonnie when we got back to camp.I loved every minute

I'd last been to Botswana nearly 10 years ago. I'd heard some good things about Kwando, particularly regarding success in seeing wild dogs, one of my favorites, so it was on my list of places to visit. When Kwando announced its Green Season rates in 2013, I quickly booked Lebala. By way of a very short report, here's some comments... More

We spent two nights at Lebala Camp last week. It is one of the best Kwando camps we've stayed at. Superb management team, delicious food and just the right amount of attention, not too much and not too little. Thabo our guide and Shoes the tracker were a formidable team and they made our game drives a real pleasure.

Another great Kwando lodge. We stayed for 3 nights at Lebala as part of our Botswana safari. Very spacious rooms with all the amenities you need. Great views on the river from our room, however we did not see any animals (we heard them at night though ...). We were lucky to see the endangered wild dogs on several of... More

This was our second time at Lebala and it had been improved since our previous visit. The staff is excellent and we were fortunate to be the only guests in camp for our three nights there, so all of our drives were private game drives! For the first two days, sightings were very quiet, but on the third day we... More

Spent 2 nights in Lebala as our first camp during a 6-night/3-camps trip in Botswana. Great sightings, 2 hyenas taking an impala kill away from a leopard, lots of elephants, two male lions feeding on an baby elephant, herd of 500+ buffalos, hyenas den... and the hippos grazing at night arouns the tent. Nice camp setting and lovely staff at... More

Lovely accommodation in a pretty setting combined with enthusiastic management, excellent guiding, full on wildlife and mixed territory including some very scenic views. On our first drive we started with leopard up a tree, followed by sleeping wild dogs that woke up on cue and stared hunting with us in hot pursuit - hang on tight and enjoy is our... More

I have travelled round Botswana quite a bit and have stayed in camps all round the Delta but this was my first visit to Lebala. My experience was quite overall quite a positive one . I had the best game viewing experience of all the Camps I visited during 3 weeks. The camp itself is in a very beautiful setting... More
