We saw it all on our rides from this fabulous riverside camp. From my veranda I safely watched a hippo graze .. the proximity was awesome (and safe). The bungalows are sensational with huge beds, tightly pulled sheets, ample blankets and a huge tub in which to stretch. The twin outdoor showers are a must! Your given a hottie to... More

I recently spent another brilliant 3 nights, in this great camp that offers everything you need for a top notch safari experience. The rooms are big and yet do not fall into the trap of being over the top, something that other camps sometimes do, with the result, that the safari atmosphere is lost. The food and service is excellent,... More

This was my third and final stop on a 10-day / 3-camp safari, and I spent three nights at Lebala Camp. This camp belongs to Kwando, who own several other properties around Botswana and aim to offer an authentic bush experience with a big focus on game viewing, which is why their vehicles have no rooftop canopy and there is... Lebala was our third and final camp on this trip to Botswana. We had stayed at Nxai Pan as well on this trip. Two years ago we visited Kwara, Little Kwara & Lagoon Camp, we thoroughly enjoyed the 'Kwando Experience' and Botswana in general and therefore wanted to return. We had heard great things about Lebala from our previous trip.... More

Our stay at Lebala camp was absolutely wonderful. The camp is in the Kwando Concession area and has its own airstrip. No person at the camp deserves less than five stars. Our guide and spotter were excellent. By chance we had a vehicle to ourselves as the other family were five, and the guarantee is no more than six per... More

We came to Lebala after excellent experiences in two other camps run by a different company (&Beyond). Lebala suffers by comparison, partly lack of imagination, perhaps a rigid rule book about how the camp should be run. We were offered no food when we arrived, very hungry, at lunch time. We were eventually brought a sandwich. Apparently guests arriving from... More

Lebala camp is located in a private concession and is reached by light aircraft. It was raining and had been for several hours. The landing was precarious due to the mud, it was like landing on sheet ice. The pilots are superb. Our driver/guide met us with the tracker. They put our bags in plastic bags to keep them dry... I struggled hard with what rating to give this camp. Ultimately, safari for us is about the wildlife, which is why I have given it 5. There is no doubt that the wildlife viewing was out of this world. We saw the wild dogs breakfasting on an impala, and more hippo and elephants than you could count, along with many... More

First and foremost this was not a bad experience rather it was disappointing. I had specifically picked this camp based on the research I had done about the quality of the safaris and to be fair these were fabulous. We spent about 8 hours a day on safari and the guide and tracker were great fun and informative about the... More

Getting up at 5.30am on your honeymoon? Madness? No, bliss. The wildlife experience was amazing; helped by our wonderful guide and tracker. We saw so many animals. All the staff in the camp were so helpful and friendly and made us feel part of the "family". They all worked so hard to make our safari experience special. The luxury tent... More
