The view over the river is the best. Once there were 42 elephants visible and countless zebra. The camp staff is flexible and will do what you want. I did a night drive and got an Ardwolf. Classic camp life and the expected great food.

Meno a Kwena has always been one of my favorite camps. it is situated along the Boleti river and offers beautiful views over the river. We had a super lucky sighting with 11 lions coming to drink right opposite the floating Hide below the camp. the staff were very friendly, our guides took us on a very productive morning game... One of the best places in Botswana to sit back and watch the wildlife go by. Situated at the top of a 30m cliff above the Boteti River, Meno A Kwena, now under new management, is a haven of tranquility. A great place to see the zebra migration during the dry season, or to go for a walk with the... More

Meno a Kwena was our excellent introduction to Botswana. It has stunning views from most points of the Boteti river with frequent visits by in particular zebra and elephant to drink on the opposite bank. It is pleasantly small with only 8 Meru style tents equipped with private bucket showers and pit latrines. The manager(Kobus) is a first class example... More

Thank you for the awesome review. Meno a Kwena certainly is the ideal spot to simply relax and enjoy the wildlife theatre in front of camp and the privacy of your tent. Plans for the removal of the fence is underway which will definitely enhance the wildlife viewing experience even more. We hope to welcome you back next year again... More

This luxury camp is managed low-key, so not even sign posted at the main road, just to keep the exclusivity....6km drive through gravel and sand to get there, 2 heavy gates to open and close. The staff (and camp manager Kobus) are extremely friendly, food is great (firewood braai).... there is a small pool overlooking the river (sometimes elephants, zebras... More

After 12 nights camping we ended our Botswana trip with a 2 night stay at Meno a Kwena. This was my second stay, having stayed here 7 years ago. I was once again not disappointed. A simple luxury with just enough of the trimmings without the wasteful excess. Lots of day beds and spots to lounge about all day. We... More

We checked in for 2 nights after 5 nights of roughing it in a roof tent, and were extremely grateful for the small luxuries and relaxing atmosphere. A true bush lodge experience, Meno is a real gem, with great staff and an idyllic setting. We would definitely stay again, but definitely for longer!

Luxury tented camp with one of the most picturesque views overlooking the Boteti river, the sunsets against the herds of zebra and elephants coming down to drink HAVE to be seen to be believed. Beautiful location high above a river bed with teeming game to watch through the day, birds aplenty. Charming staff, delicious food, amazing attention to detail. Activities too - river cruise, guided walks. Definitely worth a two or three night stay.
