What a room, what a view, what a service. Without doubt one of the best spots we've visited in the last 10 years of safari. Lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard and cheetah every day. The wildlife is absolutely briljant. How often do you get to see, Lions, Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dogs in 1 morning???!!! Maybe never again..... The rooms are... more

We had to book and paid for prior to our arrival, this was done online with The National parks and Wildlife Service. Hot showers and toilets are available and kept very clean (campsite clean). There were Elephants everywhere. more

We really liked Savuti Camp. (We also stayed at Kwara camp and Sandibe Safari Lodge). The tents were lovely, the most elegant, well equpped and thoughtfully designed of our trip. We understand the camp was rebuilt three years ago. The views from the decks were exceptional because of the flooding of the Savuti channel. Almost upon arrival, we were treated... more

Savuti was our third camp in the northern Botswana area. The lodge (dining area, deck, bar) is absolutely fabulous. Of the three camps - Duba Plains, Jacana, and Savuti - it was the most impressive. The rooms were also over the top. No outdoor shower - but the indoor one was pretty awesome. I was disappointed in the food. While... more

This is an outstanding camp with everything: great drives, amazing scenery due to the Savuti Channel being flooded for the first time in more than 20 years, excellent and large accommodations, very professional and attentive staff, high quality food and level of commitment by everyone. Could probably improve the wine selection since both white and red were pretty marginal and... more

The first thing I should say is I feel quite guilty only givng this camp 4 stars. The tents were lovely having been recently overhauled, and the whole camp fitted in very nicely with it's surroundings. The hosting was very friendly, obliging and proactive, the staff were all lovely, and the food was exceptional. So why only 4 stars I... more

This review is of Savuti Camp, Linyanti Reserve (not to be confused with Savuti Campsite or Savute Elephant Camp). The camp is run by Wilderness Safaris. Savuti wins the distinction of being our favorite safari camp. We visited 3 Botswana camps with 2 nights at each camp. While we enjoyed all 3, Savuti was truly special. Our safari guide, Tsepo,... more

Spent 3 nights at Savute camp out of 9 nights and 3 camp stays. We loved this camp as it had some of the best wildlife consistently. We had 2 sightings of wild dog (a pack of 10-12) and one time a confrontation with a hyena which we thought was going to end with the hyena being lunch, but alas,... more

September 05.The location was good. We encountered plenty of animals including a leopard sitting on the wall of the gate entrance. Phantastic. ONLY ONE DRAWBACK. As the campsite consists of sand one has to walk from the showers thru the sand to your campsite - in sand. The cleaning personal however, discards the Braii ashes in the sand of the... more
