First of all, going beginning of March is probably not the right time to be there. We did see a 50-60 herd of elephants on a jeep safari, but not the huge herds, The bush is lush and it is hard to see thru. We saw a few zebras, lots of baboons and impalas. A few giraffes, a few kudus,... More

Chobe Game Lodge was the second stop in beautiful Botswana. The indo african decor surrounded my senses to feel Africa from inside out. Hospitality abounds with plentiful food and beverages to suit every taste bud -pity I couldn't feed and store like a camel. And speaking of animals; the game drives & river cruises provide a smorgasboard of nature up... More

After waiting twenty years, our dream of staying at Chobe Game Lodge finally became a reality - unfortunately the reality was a major disappointment. We were met at the airport (late) by a totally disinterested guide who was down right rude and unfriendly. We shrugged it off but when we passed a beautiful solitary Kudu, a breeding herd of elephants... More

The facility itself is well laid out. There was little down time to enjoy the amenities though. The activities were perhaps a little too organized. The second boat trip was a repeat of the first boat trip. Having said that there was lots of animal activity near the water on the afternoon trip compared to the mid morning boat ride.... More

The people who worked there were most helpful to my husband who is an amputee. They made sure that he participated in the game rides by helping him in and out of the vehicles. The food was wonderful and the accommodations were great. We would recommend this place to anyone.

It was simply amazing! The people, the accommodation, the people - it was just amazing! We had a great time, and the staff were so friendly and really made our honeymoon extra special. The game rangers were equally fantastic and always full of knowledge and interesting facts! We were lucky to have tracked a lioness and her cubs the first... More

We had high expectations of Chobe, and the Lodge exceeded all of them. The physical premises are beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The morning and afternoon safari tours, by jeep and boat, are well organized, but still adjust to individual needs and desires. And the guides--simply extraordinary. Their knowledge of the animals, their habitats, and their skill in finding them... More

The lodge is beautiful, maybe too much so and too 'unnatural and contrived' for the location. We saw lots of animals in the park and on the river which was a really amazing experience. Our guide was good but not great. Maybe because we had just come from in Madikwe RSA where the location, our guide and lodge were fantastic!... More

I cannot find fault with the Lodge, but I cannot rave about it either. I blame this on being at the Vic Falls Hotel in Zim beforehand - I don't think anything could have lived up to that experience. The rooms are lovely, as are the walkways around premises. The tour guides are all ladies - The Chobe Angels -... More

The lodge is beautiful- Staff incredibly friendly and helpful, food was good too! Loved the Game Lodge "Lawn Mowers"... wart hogs roaming around! :D Our favorite part was the Safari Cruise on the Chobe River. Great game viewing on the land safaris too.Rooms big, clean, nicely decorated but basic. This was the 1st time we had a female driver/guide- her... More
