Savuti Camp Expensive, pleasant staff, spotless amenities, but not very clean camp site with no privacy. Botswana has unfortunately not yet found the right way to administer its parks. It is over expensive for basically very little in return.Private ownership has only increased price tenfold for nothing. 5 out 10. Not recommended.

We reserved a campsite at Savuti. Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't use the braii but you're provided with water. Ablutions are perfectly clean. Some animals go through the camp (elephants). The staff was nice and came the next day to check up on us. We were doing a 4x4 self drive trip, perfect place to stop by.

Stayed in the Out of Africa style green canvas ( semi permanent ) tents with great king size beds, outside shower with reeded screen and balcony overlooking the small Savuti channel where hippos and elephant came just metres from our tent. Staff could not have been more attentive and we ate great food together with our hosts Habana and Canny,... More

We spent three memorable nights at Camp Savuti in mid Sept. Issa was our very knowledgeable guide. The accommodations were lovely and the staff friendly. Our trip was booked by Safari Online who made a great choice in sending us to Savuti.

Campsite with much space, but rather few shade. Try to get a campsite next to the river. Here you have a fabulous view and elephants, hyenas at less than 20 metres distance. Very unfriendly staff at the reception desk (23 and 24 sept). When we wanted to get some info at the desk, a guy told us to go to... More

We were a party of four couples on a self drive camping safari and stayed for three nights. It has a wonderful setting right on the Savuti Channel, but some of the sites are not very shady and you might even get stuck in the middle of your own campsite! The ablution block was well maintained and cleaned regularly with... More

After a few hours of driving our 4X4 in deep sandy tracks from Chobe we arrived at Savuti Camp. All the staff was there to greet us at the entrance of the camp. After the usual briefing and a little rest, K.G. our fantastic guide , began with us the exploration of the Savuti Marsh which proved to be the... More

This camp was the last and best of our 16 night trip to Namibia and Botswana. The camp was the best of the Wilderness camps we stayed in. The boardwalks between rooms allowed animals to enter the camp. The rooms were large and the food was excellent. The staff was outstanding, even after 7 other Wilderness camps. And the safari... Savute Camp was a great experience. We saw a pride of 12 lions kill a Cape buffalo and we got to experience the entire event. The camp staff was excellent- even singing us into camp and singing and dancing for us our last evening meal. This is a super place to stay.

I stayed here after staying at Chobe Game Lodge. Both places were amazing. The tents here were so luxurious, clean, and spacious it's hard to even call them tents. We were practically living amongst the wildlife. They had a fence to keep out the elephants and hippos, but that didn't stop the stray leopard from walking through one night. A... More
