What a way to spend Valentine's Day! From the minute we stepped on the boat the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. We sepnt two nights on the boat and did every activity imagineable - including the game drive in Chobe, tiger fishing, just sitting and relaxing watching the game and birds from the boat and dinner both on the... We stayed on the Zambezi Queen for two nights/three days. The rooms are nicely furnished and well dedicated. Bathroom is a good size and was kept clean. The meals on the Zambezi Quean are served upstairs on an up air room with bar and patios at each end. It is really a nice room for having a drink, dinner and... More

My husband and I just came back from the most stunning & relaxing 3 days on the Zambezi Queen! We had an extremely relaxing time filled with a variety of activities that you could choose. We did game viewing both from the fantastic game boats (going "slalom" between hippos & crocodiles) as well as a normal game vehicle going into... More

Recently spend 3 amazing nights on the ZQ - we took our 2 children with us aged 12 and 19 -I think they enjoyed it more than us, The staff are really great and nothing is a hassle or a problem. Loved the options - game drive, fishing or simply just relaxing. Caught tiger fish and bream and its not... More

My partner and I recently spent 2 nights on the Zambezi Queen because we wanted to try a river safari as we had done several land-based safaris previously. From the very start, Kate was very prompt and responsive to all of our inquiries. Kate made the whole booking process easy and painless and was a big help in making our... More

I recently got married at Victoria Falls and after the wedding our family and friends joined us for a holiday on the Zambezi Queen. The transfer from the Vic Falls hotel to the boat was very smooth though the immigration formalities for such a large group did take awhile. However once we arrived at the jetty to transfer to the... I'm astounded by the last review by holidayteddy, I wonder if we are reviewing the same Zambezi Queen.  I visited the boat on October 17, and had a very different view of things. The whole experience from the arrival to departure was extremely well managed and done graciously by the staff who were incredibly friendly. If you head to this... More

We based our holiday around the Zambezi Queen after reading all the wonderful reviews - actually it was the worst part of our African Adventure. To get to the boat is quite a journey from livingstone getting in and out of cars and boats and through 3 immigrations which takes approx 1.5hours/ The cabins are very nice but are not airconditioned...
