This June ,8 of us went to Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch. It was our first time to New Mexico and not being a fan of the heat, we were worried about bakling in the sun while riding. The weather was perfect. Being in the mountains, it was 40 degrees in the morning but within a short time we were in... More

After 26 years in the Army, travelled around the world including most of USA's major attractions, you tend to think you have experienced it all - well we have now! This is a stunningly beautiful part of the world, the fact it's 2 hours from civilisation is a bonus and there is probably more wildlife per acre than the Serengeti... More

We loved this place ! Three of us went to this ranch for a riding vacation. We love to ride horses at home so it is a bonus to explore new country while away. Merris and Seth are 2 very super people ! They run a top notch place with super horses. And lets not forget to mention the cooking... More

You find a place you want to visit. You look at all the photos and guest reviews...you set expectations in your mind...and then you visit. If your expectations are met...you are pleased...even delighted. But when your expectations are blown out of the water...there are no words adaquate to express your experience. That is exactly the way our trip to Geronimo... More

Great experience, highly recommend, feel so strongly about it that I told myself I will write a review my first ever. To start location, location, location. To say remote does it no justice. This must be the most remote location in the 48. Followed the directions no problems at all. No cell phone no TV no garmin no problem! Our... More

I was amazed how much my family enjoyed this experience. We all had very little experience riding horses, this was not an issue at all. They made us feel so welcome and spent time with us teaching us what we needed to know to be safe with their horses. The trails were amazing and beyond what I imagined it would... More

This review is for anyone who is considering a stay at the Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch, but doesn't have much -- or really, any -- experience riding. Fear not! Meris and Seth have developed a way of introducing guests of all different skill levels to the wonders of riding in the Gila Wilderness. In our small group, there were riders... More

I felt welcome from the minute I arrived and was shown to my cabin. Loved the casual, authentic feel of this operation. It's not some stuffy, phony resort. The trails are just incredible and the horses are sure-footed and calm. Loved the scenery and history on every ride. Even the rides through the snow were beautiful. I was afraid there... More

My wife and I picked the Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch as the pivotal point of our 25th wedding anniversary vacation from the UK, risking our whole celebration on an unknown. Absolutely fantastic does not describe how we feel about our stay. It was way beyond all expectations, and they were set at a high level. We are not experienced riders,... More

If you're looking to get away from the hectic pace of life and enjoy great riding in truly amazing surroundings, this is the place! My friend, Mary, and I are both avid trail riders who own our own horses. We were totally satisfied with the caliber of the ranch horses and the high quality tack. Meris and Seth do an... More
