I absolutely love everything about Geronimo Trails Guest Ranch. Meris & Seth (your delightful hosts) are incredibly kind and really go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent time. Relaxing in the beauty of the New Mexico Gila National Forest riding along on the back of a horse with a couple new friends, will definitely be... More

As a kid, I grew up watching westerns. We played for hours chasing each other around on our pretend ponies and, like every other young girl, I always wanted a horse of my own. I wanted to ride through the wilderness on my trusty stead but alas, everyday life gets in the way. Fast forward, on a chance weekend I... More

You are off the grid here - no cell phones - no internet - no blow dryers. Meris and Seth were very gracious hosts, guiding us on rides through beautiful meadows filled with wild flowers and the clearest creeks you've ever seen to "Top of the World" high above the ranch. The horses were so well trained and every detail... More

I visited Geronimo Trail in early July for several days and their remote location is the setting for a hidden gem of a ranch. Getting there is a scenic adventure itself as the ranch is located along the picturesque Geronimo Trail National Scenic Byway. My favorite part was the variety of rides available. I loved exploring the canyons one day... More

Geronimo Trail Guest ranch is a great place to ride! The trails, Top of the world, Ant hill, Taylor creek canyon, and many more are all very beautiful. A lot of history, and wildlife as well. Every day was a new adventure. Thank you Meris and Seth for challenging our riding skills (You also wore us out!). The horses are... More

My husband and I recently returned from a second vacation at the ranch. It was as great as our first visit. Beautiful surroundings away from "civilization", gracious hosts that become friends, great horses and good food. Who could ask for more? Seth and Meris are excellent at what they do, always making sure everyone has a good time. The rides... More

I have ridden/trained horses for 25 years. I have visited dude/guest ranches since I was 8 yrs old... My expectations for Geronimo Trail were very very high - sadly, because of many of the reviews posted here on TripAdvisor. Bottom line, in our experience there was ZERO communication about what WE wanted as guests. Not only did we leave feeling... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We take all input very seriously and will work to improve in the areas suggested in order to make everyone’s ranch vacation the best vacation of their life. We would like to add two things. First, the guests only rode two days at our ranch. Second, they had a child... More

This June ,8 of us went to Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch. It was our first time to New Mexico and not being a fan of the heat, we were worried about bakling in the sun while riding. The weather was perfect. Being in the mountains, it was 40 degrees in the morning but within a short time we were in... More

After 26 years in the Army, travelled around the world including most of USA's major attractions, you tend to think you have experienced it all - well we have now! This is a stunningly beautiful part of the world, the fact it's 2 hours from civilisation is a bonus and there is probably more wildlife per acre than the Serengeti... More

Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch is a real western adventure! Horseback riding or hiking takes guests through open meadows, tall ponderosa forests, up on high hills where the views go on forever, and down into deep canyons with sheer cliffs and crystal clear streams.
