Three nights off the grid in the Gila National Forest. Delicious food (thank you Tim), amazing rides and tour guides (thank you Merris and Seth). Quiet, beautiful, accommodating hosts and accommodations. Highly recommend if you are a horse person and want to experience the great outdoors. Well worth the drive and money!

The horsemanship skills of Meris and Seth came through bright as a star with all the horses they had. My husband and I were overwhelmed by the beauty of the settings and the hospitality was impeccable! Each meal was amazing and our rooms were lovely. We will definitely go back.

My wife a friend and myself just returned from a wonderful week of adventure at Geronimo Trails Ranch. This is the fourth ranch we have visited in the last four years. Most ranches follow the same general format and all that I have visited are very nice. So what makes this ranch special, and yes different from all the others?... More

This is the second time we traveled to Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch, and we had such an amazing experience! We brought the kids (ages 20 and 7) this time, and they loved it too. The scenery was breathtaking, the horses were delightfully spirited, the food / Tim's cooking was ridiculously good, and I cannot emphasize enough how nice it was... More

I visited with a group of friends in September. Everything I had read in the reviews, I found to be accurate except that it took us 5 hours from Albuquerque, rather than 4, due to road construction. So, do allow some extra time, especially if you want to enjoy the views. Meris greeted us with a big smile. The food... More

This could not have been a better experience for us. The rooms were modest but spotless, the food was so good (Thanks Tim!), the scenery was spectacular and the trail rides were perfect. Thanks Merris and Seth for a great vacation with our grandchildren. Your are thoughtlful, kind and wonderful hosts!! I can't recommend this enough.

I ran across this place doing research and was impressed. I invited my son to join me in this adventure, and we were not disappointed. We spent an average of 4-6 hours a day in the saddle and never saw the samething twice. The history of the are was incredible. Meris and Seth both were very knowledgable and accepted my... More

Having ridden in many central and western states on our own horses, I went along on this trip with my husband not really expecting much. What a surprise. This was one of the best horseback riding trips we have taken, even though we left our own horses home. Meris and Seth offer a very comfortable place to call home for... More

I knew that this was going to be an amazing place just from the drive to the ranch and I was not disappointed. Arrived late afternoon and was met by Meris & Seth who made me feel very welcome straight away. The next day I was introduced to my horse, Blue. Being a relative beginner I always worry about the... We visited this ranch in April and had a super time! The horses were well cared for, the tack new and in good repair and the trails awesome. We stayed 5 days and never rode the same trail twice and each trail had spectacular views of the Gila, stunning rides through canyons and beautiful meadows, not to mention fascinating history...
