We enjoyed our one night stay here while visiting Carlsbad Caverns. The king room was very large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also large and clean. There was a microwave, coffee, and refrigerator too. We also liked the small table and two chairs in the room where we were able to enjoy the dinner and breakfast... More

The room was huge and quiet. The room heater/AC was very quiet too. It was very convenient to Carlsbad Caves. The WiFi was problematic and when it worked was slow. We didn't even bother w the Contl Breakfast since it was so minimal. We instead walked to the Cactus Cafe down the street and had a real breakfast. The room... More

Definitely not a fancy place to stay. But when you are moving with an enormous truck and towing a car across country and have always wanted to see Carlsbad Caverns, there are not many other options. Oh, and they allow pets to stay in the room. So, here are the minuses - ready? The rooms are old and need renovation.... More

Had to make quick change in trip plans and got a reservation on a day's notice at this place. Was a little concerned after reading all the negative reviews but we were quite pleased with everything. Room was clean, staff very friendly, wi-fi adequate. Breakfast was just a muffin with OJ or coffee..considerably less than many other places. Location great for... More

+ great location close to the caverns friendly and helpful staff great waterslides (clear water!) - rooms are old & dusty. even had trouble sleeping because all of the dust in the room pool area looks great from a distance... but filthy up close. pool is nasty (green water and dirt), chairs broken and full of bird poop would not... if the wifi had worked faster and more reliably, i would rate this place average. it is very expensive for what you get because it is closest to Carlsbad Caverns entrance. rooms for half the price are just 13 minutes farther away (and maybe the wifi works better). The heater did not get the room warm. I carry a room... More

This is basically a $35-40 hotel room if it's not near the caverns. The staff was very friendly and the room was OK for 1 night. There was a musty smell that seemed to indicate that the rooms needed to be aired out a little more often, but it was nothing that we were going to worry about and after... More

Obviously we had picked this hotel for its location: it was great not to have to drive too far after hiking in Guadeloupe Mountains and in the morning we were the first tourists to visit Carlsbad Caverns, when it was still very quiet there. It's a simple typical road side motel - which we like. No frills, not fancy, but... More

We got here like most do, after a long drive. The host was waiting for us, and we got a nice, clean, very quiet, big, and inexpensive place to spend the night out in the middle of the southwest desert. It is also located right outside Carlsbad Caverns park. We got our reservation on priceline. The breakfast wasn't much, banana,... More

To be honest, this is one of the more difficult reviews I have done. I started with a Very Good rating, initially thinking it deserved better than "average", but as I wrote the review more things came to mind and I changed the rating. In truth we found it good, but not great. Being in the middle of nowhere, with... More
