Campsite just a place to park....needs a thorough clean up. Please consider raking the grass area to remove rocks and dog poop and broken bottles. The bathrooms and shower are filthy with a shared hand towel put out and a bar of communal soap!!! The laundry had 3 washer snd dryers , two of which were out of service. The... More

I met my Dad and his brother-in-law at the white city resort. We unloaded and set up to trailer, the first thing I noticed was the grounds had not been kept up for some time. There were people in the park that looked to be permanent residents with junk in the front yards. When we went down to the grocery... More

Filthy, dingy bathroom, rude check in clerk, old junky trashy trailers living permanently in the park. Not at all as advertised. Only good thing is location, and showers had plenty of hot water. There was a nice gift shop at the check in area.

PROS: As close as you can get to the caverns! CONS: Everything! If you want to get to the caverns without driving the 18+ miles from Carlsbad, then one night won't kill ya, but if I had to stay here more than one night I WOULD make the drive to Carlsbad. I think we were sleeping on sheets someone else... More

We just needed a place to stay for two nights while we were visiting Carlsbad Caverns. This is an old hotel, but it was clean and we had two queen size beds (comfortable) plus a cot, a table and chairs, and the requisite dresser with a TV. There was still plenty of room. The continental breakfast is pitiful consisting of... More

We stayed in the RV Park for work. Close to the Carlsbad Caverns was a plus. Other than that, it was terrible. The picture you see when you look at their webpage is NOTHING what this place looks like. Some days you don't have water pressure, or any water at all. Water park is not open. Some neighbors who have... More

The good: grassy area to pitch tent (not easy to keep a blade of grass alive here), water, flush toilets, showers, flocks of bats at night, short drive to caverns. The bad: bathrooms dirty and filled with insects -- living and dead (c'mon man fix the screens!). Bathrooms need a good hose down with a pressure washer, preferably filled with... More

My husband and I have 6 kids, ages 3 years to 10 years. We were very skeptical about staying here with all the reviews but after driving by on our way to the Caverns and not spotting any serial killers hanging out by the office or razor blades in the pool we went for it. I have to say, I'm... More

Stayed here for the location to the caverns and like the other reviews say it left some to be desired but overall it was fun for one night. But we like the crazy kinda motel wanna be a hotel... sometimes! The room was ok. No crazy things to report. Just a plain jane room. One perk... The night sky was... More

There are too many things to mention, so I will hit a couple of the highlights: The commode was less than clean. When we had an issue with our remote, the desk clerk showed up with some guy in his pajamas. We assumed he was the maintenance man and that she woke him up to come to our room. We... More
