Whale watching in Walker Bay is best from De Kelders and this is the most wonderful place to stay while you do that. Alet and Gerard are like your favorite Aunt and Uncle and welcome you into their home. Hosts Gerard and Alet are utterly charming and serve delicious breakfasts. Extremely comfortable home on the cliffs wonderfully situated above Walker Bay, which abounds with whales during the season July to November. Rooms are very comfortable and some are sea facing with wonderful balconies to sit and watch the whales. Lovely walks along the cliff edge to Hermanus or Gansbaai.

We stayed at this spotless and welcoming B&B with direct access to the ocean for only one night - wish we could have stayed for longer as the hosts were so kind and hospitable. The location is out of this world.Parking is easy and the bedrooms and bathrooms are stunning and very private.

Great place. Ask for room with ocean views. Family-like bed and breakfast. Amazing views on the ocean and on the whales. The owners are very helpful and they know a LOT about whales. Much quieter than Hermanus. Excellent value.

When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Alet who directed us to our room. There are 4 rooms in all and we were in Elmien.
