I've been going to Clanwilliam for over 25 years and have stayed there in all sorts of accomodation - campsite, plett park, chalets, houses, hotel, etc. This was my first time with family though (wife and two young kids aged 3 and 1), and Blommenberg was just superb. Our family room was clean and spacious and had a self-catering kitchenette... More

We had 2 nights in this lovely guest house. It's a 5 minute walk into Clanwilliam with a pub en route! The rooms are really spacious and clean and breakfast was plentiful with some lovely home made muesli. The owners were helpful and friendly and the honesty bar/fridge in your room was welcome. Bottles of wine and beer really reasonably... More

From the moment we arrived, there was somebody to answer our questions and to give advice. A bonus for us was that we could take our labrador child with us. We went to go and see the flowers and was surprised to see the beauty of the area around. We took back roads and mountain passes that must be some... More

Enjoyed very friendly service! I was most comfortable in a very clean room. The breakfast spread was great and the scrambled eggs scrumptious and served in no time. Very relaxed and friendly service and I will be back for sure. Hester - Cape Town More

After 10 days of pitching tent in various Namibian camping sites two '60 something's' yearned for somewhere to soothe rather bruised and dusty bodies! Purest luck to 'hit' on Blommenberg! First phone contact with Eric was warm and hospitable. 2nd contact was meeting Joan ~ so very gracious! ~ all just a perfect 'fit' in simply beautiful surroundings, a quiet,... More

We have stayed at Blommenberg many many times, and it is the only place we'll ever stay in Clanwilliam. After the drive from Cape Town, there is nothing better than arriving at Blommenberg and being greeted by Joan and Eric like you are family. They go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable and at home as... More

Our family arrived at Blommenberg after a very long and hot day's driving from the Kalahari on our way back to Cape Town. Joan immediately made us feel relaxed and comfortable! The rooms were cool, large, beautifully clean and the pool was exactly what we required upon arrival! Everything is immaculate and lovely touches everywhere. Joan and Eric are terribly... More

We stayed at Blommenberg on the 1st night of our Nomad Overland Accomodated Safari. Our group of 9 were all over 55 and after a very big day travelling, the welcome at Blommenberg was tremendous! Our room was quite large and very very clean. Breakfast was an absolute treat. We certainly would recommend this guest house! More

The Blommenberg Guest House in Clanwilliam is perfect for anyone wanting a home from home. Eric and Joan greet you as if you were an old friend making you feel at at home right away. The rooms are large and well kitted out, with large showers and a well stocked bar fridge where the drinks are very reasonable priced. Breakfast... More
