This is a very nice comfortable guest house with helpful owners. The room and breakfast were good for our two night stay and the location is excellent for visiting the Cedarberg and also the coast at Lambert's Bay. It did put us in mind of the older "Mom and Pop" motels in the US years ago, hence the title of... More

My husband & I had a very good experience at Blommenberg Guesthouse. The quietness & fresh air was just what we needed, the Guesthouse was the ideal place, we couldn't ask for better. We strongly recommend it to anyone that needs a break, away from the city & noise. The owners are friendly & helpful, the service is good. We... More

I've been going to Clanwilliam for over 25 years and have stayed there in all sorts of accomodation - campsite, plett park, chalets, houses, hotel, etc. This was my first time with family though (wife and two young kids aged 3 and 1), and Blommenberg was just superb. Our family room was clean and spacious and had a self-catering kitchenette... More

We had 2 nights in this lovely guest house. It's a 5 minute walk into Clanwilliam with a pub en route! The rooms are really spacious and clean and breakfast was plentiful with some lovely home made muesli. The owners were helpful and friendly and the honesty bar/fridge in your room was welcome. Bottles of wine and beer really reasonably... More

From the moment we arrived, there was somebody to answer our questions and to give advice. A bonus for us was that we could take our labrador child with us. We went to go and see the flowers and was surprised to see the beauty of the area around. We took back roads and mountain passes that must be some... More

Enjoyed very friendly service! I was most comfortable in a very clean room. The breakfast spread was great and the scrambled eggs scrumptious and served in no time. Very relaxed and friendly service and I will be back for sure. Hester - Cape Town More

After 10 days of pitching tent in various Namibian camping sites two '60 something's' yearned for somewhere to soothe rather bruised and dusty bodies! Purest luck to 'hit' on Blommenberg! First phone contact with Eric was warm and hospitable. 2nd contact was meeting Joan ~ so very gracious! ~ all just a perfect 'fit' in simply beautiful surroundings, a quiet,... More

We have stayed at Blommenberg many many times, and it is the only place we'll ever stay in Clanwilliam. After the drive from Cape Town, there is nothing better than arriving at Blommenberg and being greeted by Joan and Eric like you are family. They go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable and at home as... More
