A very warm welcome from the hosts and the parrot! Superb well appointed twin room with excellent bathroom, useful fridge and noise free ceiling fan! Fantastic breakfasts and great help in planning rock art trail and visit to rooibos farm.

Wally and Joan could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. The property is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The furnishings are traditional rather than modern and may not be to everyone's taste. The breakfast spread was magnificent!

We stayed the night here in February and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our hosts could not have been warmer, more welcoming or helpful. The house itself is very comfortable with rooms equipped with all the luxuries including top quality linen and well specced bathrooms. There are good restaurants in the town which is quite safe to walk around even after dark.

Had a very pleasant stay. Owners Jane and Wally are very hospitable. The personal touches in the rooms are fabulous. Great breakfast and very relaxing atmosphere especially under a 200 year old tree. Great location if you fancy hiking in the Cederberg.

Perfectly positioned for exploring the Cederberg. Hospitality excellent, food well prepared and plenty of it. Rooms beautifully decorated. First rate. I would recommend it to anyone who would wish to stay in the area.

Nice, large rooms. Excellent breakfast - strongly recommended! The owners were very friendly and helped us with the brai. They also let us borrow their guide to the Sevilla rock art trail, which was not far away. Nice pool under a beautiful old tree. Would go back here!

We spent four days with Joan and Wally at Saint du Barry's a week ago and could not have been better looked after. They were most welcoming to two weary travellers on a hot day and Joan revived us with her magic brew of Roibos tea, for which the area is famous. I had just started a nasty sore throat... More

We went on a road trip and stayed over for two nights. Such friendly and hospitable people, the rooms are great, air conditioned rooms, super comfortable beds and tastefully decorated; almost have a European feel to the place. There is a splash pool if the heat is getting to you, or you can simply sit and relax underneath the more... More

Spent 6 nights in this B&B in Clanwilliam and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. Chose Clanwilliam for a walking holiday and this proved to be a good base to explore from. Accommodation is under a lovely high thatched roof and has everything that is needed, including a full size fridge stocked with drinks and a mosquito net over the bed, which... More
