We had booked at another venue close to Dullstroom but when we arrived we realised we had made a major mistake and could not stay there. On the way to Dullstroom we Googled accommodation, called the Dullstroom Inn and booked last minute accommodation for the night. Soon afterwards the vehicle started to overheat so we called the Inn to see... More

This is not my usual kind of place as I'm not really into "quaint" or B&Bs. However, I stayed here for a few nights as part of a work-related event in Dullstroom. The room was a bit shabby but very clean. As other reviewers have indicated, there's only a few rooms with a shower; most only have a bathtub. The... More

Quaint and quiet in the week. Lovely open fire and Guinness available. Smoked trout salad was lovely. nice grade at back. park round the back. our room (8) had a bath. Feels like a english B&B room with cheap kettle but we liked the old stately home feel of the place. Staff were nice. Gets busy at weekends with fisher-people.

Spent some time here with friends over a glass or two & some good value pub grub. The atmosphere is great in this inn with a history going back to 1912 & with a fire burning in the grate which apparently has been burning for over 33 years. A pleasant place to be for a relaxing hour or two.

We visited the Dullstroom Inn for a lunch on a Tuesday afternoon - not a good day to visit Dullstroom, most restaurants and shops were closed... I had the fresh trout with veggies and salad - lovely meal and generous portion. R95. Our guests tried the smoked warm trout as well as an Oxtail. All looked and smelled delicious. Cold... More

My wife's family owned a hotel in Scotland in the seventies and this place is a carbon copy. The furniture hasn't been changed since the seventies the decor, sinks looks showers are all the same In need of replacement chipped and out of date All that being the case, we didn't expect any less or more so we weren't unhappy... Dullstroom is a lovely town and has no shortage of restaurants but service and quality of food is always an issue at most of the places. This place always deliver on food, service and atmosphere. Their Oxtail and steak egg and chips are really good and very well priced. Service with a smile and always keen to assit their patrons.... More

The room was very basic. The bedding felt very old and dusty. The electric blanket only worked on one switch so it either had to be really hot or really cold! There was only one set of electric points. Only a bath in the room which is not ideal when you have to get up early and get ready quickly.... More

We drove through the village and looking for a place to have lunch and not so crowded, remembering an old kuier spot and head straight to this old charm pub. On arrival the staff was friendly and made you feel welcome, drinks was ordered and we enquired about the menu dishes and recommendations. We decided to have a standard pub... More
