We have just finished our second trip to elands valley staying in stone lodge and it is even better than we remember it. From the moment we got there we were warmly welcomed by Lizzy and her team who all came to the cars to help us unpack. All the fireplaces were prepared, the coal stove was hot and the... More

The venue itself is a real treasure. We had loads of fun fishing, and the staff were very thoughtful and helping. I was a bit disappointed with the cottage (The Owl House) itself at first, as we had no idea the the whole cottage was it the attic of a garage. From the pictures it is really hard to see... More

We stayed at Strawberry Fields but left a day early - we couldn't stand the excessive amount of flies and mosquitos anymore! We were not informed of the fowl-run and compost right behind our litlle house. If they resolve this problem you can have a great time, the setting is very tranquil and the stoep with the view is the... More

Ou family stayed at Stone Lodge. Big house that sleeps 8. Dining room and kitchen tables to seat everyone. Lounge is comfortable by the fire place. Was a miserable, rainy weekend outside, but inside was warm, beautifully decorated, enough space in the kitchen, lviving areas were comfortable & bedrooms were clean and pretty. (Not the perfect unit with small kids... More

This is a lovely farm with beautiful rooms, we staid at Flufftail, and is perfect for families. I would recommend 2 to 3 nights to have some time to enjoy the farm activities and surrounds. We would certainly visit them again when looking for something peacefull in the Dullstroom area. Well worth it.

We stayed in Featherbrooke which was a beautiful restored farmhouse. It was warm and cosy, the perfect getaway for us. The staff were friendly and attentive. And we were delighted when they brought us warm fresh farm bread and home made scones. We will definately go back again.

We arrived with little expectation and found a little bit of heaven! We stayed in the one bedroomed cottage called 'Strawberry fields' which was just delightful. We had a lovely walk around the farm in the morning before going into the village of Dullstroom. When we arrived back we had freshly baked bread waiting for us which was such a... More

We were fortunate enough to stay at both Flufftail and Featherbrook and what a glorious few days it was. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely quaint accommodation with a location that defies belief. Not only were we able to relax by the dam in the sun; my partner read and relaxed whilst I tried my arm at both rowing and fishing... More

This was our second visit to Elands Valley (Stone Lodge) with friends - the first being in 2009. As before, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay - with 4 bedrooms (3 king size and en-suite), lounge with a fire place, kitchen with a coal stove, and verandah. The staff servicing the house was very friendly - always ensuring that the stove... More

What a stunning place. We stayed in the Flufftail Cottage. Very beautiful and quaint. Sitting in the kitchen and hearing the Trout jumping in the Twitchers Pond right in front of the cottage..bliss. Caught lots of fish and were always accompanied by the very special farm dog (puppy actually), Dotty. The staff were absolutely amazing. So welcoming, very helpful, so... More
