We found this motel since all of the chain motels along I-40 were filled. This is an older motel from Hwy 66's heyday but the owner has maintained it well and is attractive and very reasonable. Planning an overnight stay in Tucumcari and wanting to do so at one of the Route 66 motels, we asked some locals at a restaurant which motel they could recommend.
