Room was very clean, Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great at a fair price. Will stay there again next time as location is superb for a tourist. more

If you're interested in a hotel that loses reservations, has front desk staff dressed inappropriately and are more interested in carrying on a personal phone call than answering guests' questions, has cracked windows coming out of their tracks, toilets that are cracked and don't flush, ice machines that are out of order and rooms that don't get cleaned, then this... more

I must say that the reviews that I had read about this place were absolutely correct. We had a wonderful time, The room was exceptionally clean, the public facilities were clean, the staff exuded "welcome" without being overbearing. The Lounge however was the stellar feature. Sandy the barkeep was extremely helpful with questions that we had about what to see... more

We returned after a two year absence to the Don Fernando with fond memories of the last visit. We were disappointed. The room we had (#114) had a ton of problems which led to a two day stay being shortened to one day. Broken window; main door that looked like it had been jimmied; toilet that ran; toilet seat broken;... more

The rooms were clean and neat with no complaints except that the beds were very uncomfortable. The air conditioner in the first room (we had to switch rooms) kept turning off. When my wife tried to plug in her computer, someone had screwed a piece of metal over the outlet so that there was a short when we pluged in... more

Unique layout of property and nice rooms. Kids enjoyed indoor pool and the adults enjoyed the happy hour in the lobby bar {not at the same time :)}. Clean, comfortable, great value. more

Wall paper peeling off walls, locks on doors broken, moldy smell, horrible beds, the worst place we have ever stayed - below a one star! Employees embarrassed and apologetic, but for $100 + it was not even close to a one star - spoke with the people we were there in Taos to meet and conincidentally they had also stayed there... more

Somewhere on their homepage it should read, "We have no customer service!" We had heater problems and nothing was done. We never had our room cleaned. When we asked for stuff, nothing was ever done. more

Adequate.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in January 2009 as part of a ski club trip from Chicago. (The lodgings were booked by the club, through an agent.) I've had worse lodging experiences, but I've had more better ones. Complaints just kept popping up. The parking lot wasn't cleared of ice and snow. Service in the restaurant was glacially slow;... more

Liked the hotel for the $ in Taos. Have stayed at a more expensive B and B here but this time wanted something more basic because we were just passing through for a different destination. I liked the hotel because it had lots of walking paths on the grounds and the buildings / rooms didn't feel like a hotel, but... more
