We reserved a first floor double-queen at Super 8 Taos, and were placed in a 2nd floor room that had serious limitations. Problems included a cracked toilet seat, no curtain on bathroom window, and, no stopper in sink. Discussion at the front desk resulted in a reduction of room charge, however we were not impressed with this sites handling of... More

My trip in New Mexico I used many super 8 hotels, Socorro, Santa Fe, and this one in Taos. The rooms are very similar in each hotels however the worst part for this hotel is the breakfast. Only diluted waffle, too diluted juice, cornflake, coffee and biscuit/gravy. And that's it. No egg, no fruits, even no bread for toast. (There's... More

If you're looking at this hotel then you probably usually stay in the cheaper hotels and so do we. I wouldn't call it a dive, but it's pretty basic. The room is very small and very plain. (nothing hanging on walls, so feels quite bare) But it seemed clean enough. Breakfast was VERY basic. Waffle maker, 2 types of cereal,... More

The room smelled from deodorizer, probably from trying to cover up cigarette smoke. And the exit door squeaked loudly and slamed shut every few minutes all night long. Perhaps it says more about the occupants than the hotel, buthe all in all it was pretty unpleasant.

The room was clean and had everything expected. The one downside was the heater only blew out cold air. There was a small space heater in the room that we used, but I don't like to leave those on overnight.

This hotel could use some TLC. The bathroom linoleum was curling up and the bathroom wall plaster was bubbling out from water damage. Old style TV but it worked fine. Fridge and microwave were OK. Bed was OK. Breakfast was just OK. Waffle machine needed cleaning and anti-stick fix. No fresh fruit.
