I read the reviews but went ahead and booked it. The front desk was flustered and unorganized. I had to remind her that I had booked a fireplace. (Paid more). The guy next to me kept going to rooms and it was still dirty or had people's stuff still in them. The room. The room was fairly clean. The bathroom... More

Bad shape, no towels, horrible coffee, cofeemaker in room but no coffee, (that is just cruel) bad bad breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights no housekeeping and when they "clean" the room they just made the bed and drop some clean towels , dirty floors, dirty bathroom. When I asked for fresh towels the girl in front desk said I don't... More

Really haters? You want Four Seasons accommodations for Motel 6 prices? The Whitten Inn was exactly what we expected. A warm, dry place to crash after an awesome day of skiing. The kids loved the indoor pool/hot tub and the continental breakfast was the perfect quick bite of breakfast before we hopped on the bus to the mountain. And the... More

I came to Taos to ski. I wanted a cheap hotel. Most people do not come here to sit in a five star hotel. This hotel was absolutely sufficient for my needs. Staff was extremely friendly. Room was clean. Again, if you want a five star hotel, then go to the valley.

Shame on me for not checking the reviews first, which I usually do Now I'm calling the credit card company to dispute the second night... More

I have seen cleaner rooms in hostels in Eastern Europe. And that's saying a lot for places that were 10€ a night. There are dirty sheets, dirty carpet, dirty mattress, dirty bathroom dirty chairs and no coffee and not wrapped cups, they just left loose styrofoam cups in our room. Eww For 80$ a night they should go out of... More

After a wonderful drive thru northern NM, arrived in Taos late. The only motel not sold out was the Whitten. We paid $80 for a small, dirty (not filthy) room. We were so tired we slept until 10 and we were the only car in the parking lot. I guess everyone else was in a hurry to leave. It's an... More
