Bugs in the room. Toilet leaked, room dirty. Management let a big party in the parking lot get out of hand, the police had to be called to break it up after 10:30 PM. The wifi was almost non existent. Absolutely disgusted with the place.

WE were told it was nice and that they would do anything to make our stay a good one. The hotel is OLD. however we only had one room cleaning in the 5 days that we stayed.... More

So, the first thing you see as you walk in - a mat that says, "Stay at the Whitten, you will be purring like a kitten." This kitten did not purr, once. Nor was she impressed. Especially when I saw the housekeeping cart was a grocery buggy (I kid you not). This hotel was the only one left with vacancies... More

We decided to end our time in the Southwest by visiting Taos. None of us had ever been and given its iconic nature we though "what the heck." We stayed in the Whitten. It was affordable and comfortable but a bit pricy for the the actual status of the facility. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great, it was good and... More

We stayed here when my bf's band was playing at Taos Mesa Brewing and were pleasantly surprised as we were hotel hunting on a budget! Their pet rates are quite reasonable and we were able to splurge on a jacuzzi room... Totally worth it! The jacuzzi set up was much nicer than Ive seen in other hotels, just dont forget... More

I should have known it would be a bad stay when they insisted I pay in advance. First room's lock was broken. After 45 mins they finally get us in to find a completely wrecked room. They asked us to wait while they contacted housekeeping. NO WAY. We insisted on a new room and when we walked in it WREAKED!... More

We didn't plan ahead and couldn't find a room. This was the only place left. Nice lobby, free continental breakfast. Affordable - just about $100, but definitely a motel room you would think it was bike week! Room was sparce but clean, on the worn side but it was okay.
