On a business trip and only stayed the night, with a quick visit to the Indian Pueblo. There has been some changes since I was here two years ago. The place is cleaner, and the staff more friendly. more

Clean friendly staff and rooms. Improvements are being made and are very obvious improvements from the past owners. more

Talk about old, dusty, dirty with lousy service and a management that cares only about their bottom line - give this place a pass if you want to maintain your sanity. more

The area is magic and historical beyond belief. We passed through in early October and liked it so much we decided to spend the night. We found the Whitten Inn and we were very pleased. The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. The housekeepers are obviously well trained because our room was very clean. The front desk staff... more

In the beautiful Taos is a raunchy, seedy and run down hotel. Look if you like those type of conditions this is the motel for you. The price was cheap but still over priced for mold in the shower, over your head, roaches and dead little bugs under the covers. Couldn't get my $ back so we left to another... more

This hotel is now called the Whitten Inn. Under new ownership and management we found our stay very pleasant. Our room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Great breakfast, affordable at $55 a night. Internet available in lobby, not sure about wifi in room as it did not apply for us. We... more

We planned to stay 12 days but changed our mind due to the condition of this place! It brought my daughter to tears on the first night! When i requested to see the manager, the rude adolescent girl at the counter made me wait for at least one half hour before I inquired as to where "she, the manager" was?... more

I wrote one of these yesterday, and cant find it now. The front desk clerk is young, and curt. Uninformed about area, but other than that it's ok for the price. The place needs some TLC, but I guess they are workin on it.Great location to everything in Taos. There is a pool, but I guess it is bein worked... more

I was very disappointed in this Inn. We traveled from New Mexico to Arizona and off all the places we stayed this was the most expensive and the least appealing. Not sure what the offensive smell was but was the smell of urine. I don't believe that any of the hallways or walkways have been power washed in years. Too... more

Looking for good value, I found a bust. The property appeared decent on the internet, but it was disappointing in person. Two words accurately describe it: dirty and old. We were fearful to walk on the carpet without shoes, mold was growing in the shower, and the linens were super thin and suspect. The heating unit was as loud a... more
