Stayed here mainly for its proximity to downtown Taos. The room was large and comfortable. Its an older establishment and shows its age. However for $90. on a Friday night in Taos it was too good to pass up. Great for a budget traveler. more

The carpet and decor were disgusting - I recommend not walking barefoot on the floor. A screen on the window would have been nice. I didn't even bother with the breakfast - it wasn't worth it and they ran out of things very quickly and didn't replenish it. It's also WAY overpriced! The bed was comfortable and the people working... more

I am sorry that your experience is not what we hope to provide Guests. All rooms have been painted during the last year, we use a Rug Doctor carpet shampoer regularly attempting to keep carpets clean. Although continental breakfast is just that, continental, it is more than donuts and coffee. If we were remiss at replentishing, again, I am sorry,...

I was looking for a centrally located hotel and from the website, it all sounded so good. What they don't tell you in that there is no radiio or clock, no iron or ironing board, no blow dryer, no suitcase rack, no internet connection, and the TV reception is not that great. The breakfast really lags-when they run out of... more

Thanks for your comments. We do have complimentary WIFI but no wired internet. I try to keep the website information accurate. It is our policy to under promise and over deliver although it sounds like you didn't understand our offerings. I apologize for the failure of maintaining the continental breakfast products. We'll work with our front desk team to remedy...

The staff was wonderful and very accomodating when we got there. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were kind of okay but obviously an older hotel that had some upgrades in part of the room but not the bathroom or basin area. Otherwise it was nice and comfortable. The staff the next morning was, uh, well not as accomodating. Seemed... more

Positives: Wonderful food at Downtown Bistro right next door. Easy walk to Plaza NEGATIVES: Entire amount for four days had been charged to my credit card upon my arrival; the usual is one or two night's charge. Room very shoddy, outlet for TV didn't work, only ONE lamp with low wattage bulb in room. Carpets dirty, shoddy tile installation, (Never... more

Very unusual to charge the Guest up front. For business we gain directly, we usually pre-auth the Guest CC for the estimated full stay and adjust, settle, and charge upon departure. For Guests who deal with 3rd party bookers (always a bad idea), many of them do charge up front...including exhorbitant added charges. Cultured marble vanity tops are in 100%...

I stayed at the Indian Hills Inn for one night with my husband. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Hotel has very lovely grounds, rooms overlooking a green space with a big tree, where you can sit in the evening. There is also a swimming pool. Staff are very friendly and relaxed. The location is good, it is a... more

Excellent rate in Taos--happily honored my discount coupon. Very quiet rooms and setting despite being on the busy road. Everything seemed to be redone here and it shows the management cares about this facility. Very convenient to the Plaza. Staff very helpful about recommendations and directions. more

The place is nice looking and centrally located so we stopped as the first of several places we intended to check out. The front desk guy quoted us a high-ish price (standard for Taos) because we have 2 teens. When we said thanks, we'd prob. be back, he lowered the price and offered us $25 off. We jumped at it.... more

Thank you so much for the compliments. Sounds like Daniel was doing his "sales" job well. We receive many compliments about his effort at being the "Guest tour guide". Come back soon.

The Inn was basic, but it was quite comfortable and in a great location. The room was large, the linens and towels clean, nice mattress, enough closet space and even TV and pool. The only comment I’d give that the carpet needed some vacuuming. Good selection for breakfast, free ice and parking. AC unit worked great. There is a Smith’s... more

Glad we provided good service and thanks for posting your comments! Your points about linens makes me let folks know that we spend a bit more than other similarly styled lodging properties on beds and linens cause that's the most contact Guests have with us. Hope we get you back and serve your referrals too!

As we were travelling on a budget this was a good option for us and apart from the carpet in our room, everything else was clean and in good order. Staff were pleasant and friendly and a continental breakfast was included. Would recommend this motel to anyone on a budget. more
