No hot water first night, bar and restraunt closed, no liquor license, rooms run down, they advertise Indian Dancers but they never showed. Find a better hotel for your family. This hotel had windows broken in units, half empty, staff was lacking in skills. Jim R.

Our room had two queens, and lots of extra space, including a separate room next to the bathroom with a secondary wash basin, and more counter space than you will find in today's "upscale" suites. Beds were comfortable and property extremely quiet. Plenty of towels and amenities. Room needs updating, but it was clean. The breakfast is a secret. A... More

I knew after my stay with my mother, I had to write this review: Only the lonely, one star given here. The one star is for the bed. Great bed. Never slept better. Room wasn't too bad. Basic, cute. Bathroom was ok: noticed the shower curtain had not been changed since who knows when, could see scum/mold build up. Pretty... More

To Felicia M. In Taos, Thanks for your report. as the owner, I take great pride in providing customer service above the normal expectations of all customers at our Lodge & Resort Hotel in Taos; Thus, this report about the owner shrugging his shoulders and not caring must have been perceived by a person who maliciously mis-identified me as the... To Bobby D, This report about us and the proud hospitality at our hotel is very disturbing. This guest rented a room for a monthly stay, and checked out of the room after staying for about fifteen minutes after reporting that the room was fine except the ceiling was too low and the bed was too short for the 6... Cheap is absolute terms, but expensive given poor value. Totally gone to seed. Not clean or functional. Avoid it, even if you have to sleep in the park. Wifi busted in room. It worked in the lobby. They said they were "working on it" whatever that means.

This was obviously once a very nice resort. The grounds are large with old growth trees. Breakfast was good. And it all just didn't make up for the dirty room. MUST be the original carpet. . . pretty bad. All furniture and walls need a good washing. Too bad, could be a very cool spot.

This property could be fantastic. Instead it is dated and poorly run. Bed was comfortable. Old tube tv barely had a picture. The bathroom is very worn. We had NO TOWELS of any kind. When we asked for towels, we were told there were none. Seriously. We asked again in the morning and they found ONE for our entire family.... More

The Kachina Lodge was built in 1960, and it has managed to survive into the 21st century in style. Our room had two queens, and lots of extra space, including a separate room next to the bathroom with a secondary wash basin, and more counter space than you will find in today's "upscale" suites. The breakfast in the Cafeteria was... More

I stayed here last April mostly b.c I wanted a place that was easy to find and affordable. They were SO nice and friendly. It wasn't the fanciest hotel, but I was cozy and warm at night, the hot tub was fine. I loved the free hot made to order breakfast. I mean that is UNREAL to me. The eggs... More

Get what you pay for... One of the cheapest options but bottom of the barrel. Rooms are big which is nice but extremely dated and showing its age. Free breakfast was a nice bonus but slow service is an understatement. We were there on a ski trip with friends so it did the trick but It wouldn't be a good... More
