Just be aware when planning to stay here think twice, employees are untrusting when dealing with housekeeping they seem to have sticky fingers, "Do not leave anything of value in room even a t-shirt, Our wardrobe vanished even though every one said they accounted for,and Mr Koop owner/mgr Hes a piece of work, Is not very people friendly or helpful,... Cheap is absolute terms, but expensive given poor value. Totally gone to seed. Not clean or functional. Avoid it, even if you have to sleep in the park. Wifi busted in room. It worked in the lobby. They said they were "working on it" whatever that means.

This was obviously once a very nice resort. The grounds are large with old growth trees. Breakfast was good. And it all just didn't make up for the dirty room. MUST be the original carpet. . . pretty bad. All furniture and walls need a good washing. Too bad, could be a very cool spot.

This property could be fantastic. Instead it is dated and poorly run. Bed was comfortable. Old tube tv barely had a picture. The bathroom is very worn. We had NO TOWELS of any kind. When we asked for towels, we were told there were none. Seriously. We asked again in the morning and they found ONE for our entire family.... More

The Kachina Lodge was built in 1960, and it has managed to survive into the 21st century in style. Our room had two queens, and lots of extra space, including a separate room next to the bathroom with a secondary wash basin, and more counter space than you will find in today's "upscale" suites. The breakfast in the Cafeteria was... More

I stayed here last April mostly b.c I wanted a place that was easy to find and affordable. They were SO nice and friendly. It wasn't the fanciest hotel, but I was cozy and warm at night, the hot tub was fine. I loved the free hot made to order breakfast. I mean that is UNREAL to me. The eggs... More

Get what you pay for... One of the cheapest options but bottom of the barrel. Rooms are big which is nice but extremely dated and showing its age. Free breakfast was a nice bonus but slow service is an understatement. We were there on a ski trip with friends so it did the trick but It wouldn't be a good... More

Nice little place to stay. A little ways away for the central tourist area. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We had a room in the back away from traffic. Restaurant served a small but good hot breakfast.

Kachina Lodge was a great hotel with decent prices and close to the ski valley. We visited this past week and were very shocked by how bad the management has let the place slip. Our first room had the bathroom door handle break, the second room remote to the tv didn't work, only two towels for 5 people, the room... More

No wifi and terrible cell reception. Big box TV’S from 1992. Room was not as pictured online. However, Felicia at the front desk was VERY nice and is exempt from all negative comments, she allowed us to try a few rooms and even offered to upgrade us to a king. First room we tried possibly had the original carpet from... More
