Not sure what this place is.....only know it is WAY over priced! Smallest room I have stayed in...ever! The dirt in the bathroom was shocking! The wifi was not usable...we tried moving around to get better signal..no luck. The maintenance in the room was terrible. Scotch tape holding the baseboard heaters together. Electrical outlets filled with electrical cords. Plug in... More

Upon arriving at Touchstone Inn, I felt an immediate sense of welcome normally reserved for good friends. A note of welcome with our names was pinned to the front door and it wasn’t long before Bren Price, the owner, came out of her art studio to greet us. She walked us through the Inn and grounds, that reflected decades of... More

This was the absolute perfect gateaway! We were treated like family but had all the privacy we needed. The food was deluctible and original! The room and private deck were amazing to wake up to. I will definitely be back to visit.

In 2010 I took my then 88-year old mom to Touchstone Inn for the Christmas holidays. We wanted to attend the Christmas-eve activities at the Pueblo andto travel outside of Denver for the season since the rest of our family wasn't coming to town that year. It turned out to be one of the coldest Christmases on record there, and... More

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a Bed and Breakfast! I urge you not to book here!! I booked a reservation at the Touchstone Inn, which is listed all over the internet as a Bed and Breakfast (as it is here on Google). As our reservation got close, I sent an email to the owners to let... More

I am very sorry about the bad experience of these guests. Brad, our innkeeper and breakfast chef at the time was dealing with health issues and had spinal surgery in early November; in October, prices were reduced to reflect lodging only with no breakfast temporarily. We now have a new innkeeper with breakfast which features gluten free and accommodates non-dairy... More

Gary & I had our simple wedding ceremony in the gardens amongst the natural landscape July 19th 2013. We came from Texas to elope and could not have ask for more. Nice, quiet. No interruptions, seldom seen anyone. The owners were such nice people. They introduced us to Susan Carpenter Sims who performed the wedding (wonderful person) and provided us... More

I have a very limited travel budget and don't get to take many trips, so choosing a place to spend my money on a rare opportunity to treat myself to a solo "retreat" to recharge and renew was a big decision for me. I stayed at Touchstone Inn for two nights and I'm SO glad I chose them out of... More

I stayed five nights at Inn taking a workshop. My room had the trash taken out once during my visit per my request. My bedsheets were never changed nor room straightened. I bought paper towels for room because only paper available was toilet paper. The room had no AC and screen door could not be locked. The hosts were not... More

In a workshop environment the protocols set up between the presenter and the inn prevail - daily housekeeping, in the case of a workshop is an extra charge, of which this guest chose not to take advantage. Participants of workshops stay at a reduced room rate with the option to have housekeeping or not. It is unfortunate that this was... More

We just returned from a week long trip to Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico. We spent four lovely nights at a B&B (Casa Cuma) in Santa Fe and then drove to Taos for the last three nights. For the last three evenings of our trip we stayed at the Touchstone Inn in the D.H. Lawrence room. We have stayed... More

Typically, we do not respond to reviews ... good or poor. But in this case we would like to reiterate that when asked how things were from room to food we were told -- with a smile -- that everything was "fine" or "great". As far as us being friendly, we are and were, but the male in the party... More

Highly recommended. Walking distance to everything, but the B and B is on spacious and beautiful grounds so you don't feel like you are close to downtown. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the comfortable living room. Breakfast was creative and delicious.
