My wife and I had a wonderful weekend, the breakfast was great and all the staff were helpful. Thank you for all your kindness. The lodge, dining room, our room, the grounds, and especially the staff made our stay a delight. This is a great Place to leave everything behind and enjoy your stay!

Beautiful location but the word "stressful" doesn't even BEGIN to describe what it's like to deal with the woman who runs the lodge! I would not recommend this place until it is under new ownership. Her customer service is beyond horrible and the way she treated us completely ruined our stay.

Wonderful hospitality. Comfortable accommodations. A place with a unique history that deepens the uniqueness of Taos itself. But most of all there is an inner beauty to the place that enhances and compliments its magnificent surroundings. Mt. Taos seems to look over the lodge, giving it an added sense of peacefulness, as well as timelessness.

Horrible customer service. I WAS going to buy a Groupon for this place but the lady that answered the phone was really rude. She answered the phone by saying the lodges name. I then asked her if she could confirm availability on this Friday before buying the Groupon. She just said that I have to go through Groupon which I... More

I found the staff and accommodations to be better than I could have hoped for. The 2 rooms my friends and I had were beautifully decorated, the beds very comfortable, and Pam, the owner, very helpful in helping us find the most interesting places to explore and activities to enjoy. I will not stay anywhere in Taos but the San... More

The first thing we did when we arrived is walk the labyrinth. I found it meditative; the kids (age 11 & 13) found it fun. The keys were waiting for us at the front desk, as was a breakfast order form -- sort of like a room service menu in other places. We chose the 8:30am breakfast. After a dinner... More

Eleven of us stayed in SGL for 6 days in May for our annual Yogation. Pam Tyler and her staff were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating, allowing us to claim (rent reasonably) the better part of the huge dining room for five days to practice yoga, host a local storyteller, watch a movie together. It really felt like home. Yes, it's... More

First, would never have stayed here without my groupon. Glad I had my groupon. Room-small but nice and the NM architecture was fitting the expectation of the adobe approach. Pros: 1. Quiet location about 2 miles SE of the plaza. 2. DVD in the room. Tons of recent DVDs available in the lodge area if needed. Nice. Cons: 1. Breakfast... More

Our family of 5 spent the week of Spring Break at the San Geronimo. The staff was very accommodating, the breakfasts were wonderful, our room was large enough for all of us including our ski gear and overall, it was comfortable with a feeling of homeyness. One morning we slept in and went to the dining room after breakfast was... More

We like the San Geronimo and have stayed here eight times over the past five years. Emails get answered quickly and are (probably) preferred to phone correspondence by the SGL staff. Pool is pristine and has a deep end for water exercises. Rooms and baths have always been immaculate. Beds are firm and very comfortable. Snowy white bedding invite naps... More
