The first thing we did when we arrived is walk the labyrinth. I found it meditative; the kids (age 11 & 13) found it fun. The keys were waiting for us at the front desk, as was a breakfast order form -- sort of like a room service menu in other places. We chose the 8:30am breakfast. After a dinner... More

Eleven of us stayed in SGL for 6 days in May for our annual Yogation. Pam Tyler and her staff were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating, allowing us to claim (rent reasonably) the better part of the huge dining room for five days to practice yoga, host a local storyteller, watch a movie together. It really felt like home. Yes, it's... More

First, would never have stayed here without my groupon. Glad I had my groupon. Room-small but nice and the NM architecture was fitting the expectation of the adobe approach. Pros: 1. Quiet location about 2 miles SE of the plaza. 2. DVD in the room. Tons of recent DVDs available in the lodge area if needed. Nice. Cons: 1. Breakfast... More

Our family of 5 spent the week of Spring Break at the San Geronimo. The staff was very accommodating, the breakfasts were wonderful, our room was large enough for all of us including our ski gear and overall, it was comfortable with a feeling of homeyness. One morning we slept in and went to the dining room after breakfast was... More

We like the San Geronimo and have stayed here eight times over the past five years. Emails get answered quickly and are (probably) preferred to phone correspondence by the SGL staff. Pool is pristine and has a deep end for water exercises. Rooms and baths have always been immaculate. Beds are firm and very comfortable. Snowy white bedding invite naps... More

My husband and I took advantage of the Groupon deal and were pleasantly surprised! Like other reviewers, I was a little wary driving in, as the surrounding neighborhood was a little odd, however there is another B&B right next door, and once I was on the property, I never felt uncomfortable about safety or our car. When you go out... More

My son and I recently spent one night at this resort using a Groupon offer but we're soo sorry that we did not stay for two nights! While the resort is located just a few miles from downtown Taos it's very remote, peaceful and quiet. We were in Room 26 on the second floor overlooking the pool - we had... More

This inn is a couple miles outside of town which makes it very quiet and relaxing. It is supposed to be the oldest lodge in Taos and has a colorful history which we found interesting. The room and facility were clean. We had the best breakfast of our trip here.

From reading their website and based on the $189 room rate, we expected to find a "hidden Taos gem", but instead we found a poorly maintained and dirty facility that hides behind self promotion as a "spiritual" get away. We needed a GPS to find the lodge as it is located nearly 3 miles from the Taos Plaza on back... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights earlier this month using a Groupon deal. From reading reviews, we expected clean, quaint accommodations but were a bit disappointed to find a rather worn room with stained carpet and no character. Because we took our dog, we were limited to a downstairs dog-friendly room, the other rooms may be much nicer. Breakfast... More
