First off I would like to say that the La Posada de Taos is a beautiful comfortable place to stay. With the exception of the Innkeepers. We were scheduled to check in at 4 PM only to find a note on the door to call the innkeepers and guess what no one answered our call even after the second attempt... More

We stayed at La Posada de Taos last September. Fall in Taos is stunning, and this B&B is tucked away feeling private, but only a two minute walk to the Taos Plaza for dinner, the farmers market and live music. Beautiful historic B&B, loved the enclosed outdoor areas. Our room and the common areas were immaculate - it is a... More

We stayed in Las Casita, which had its own parking place. It was only a few steps walk to the main building. It was a spacious, comfortable suite. There's a nice, common living room in the main lodge for lounging and enjoying the chocolate chip and chocolate brownie cookies and sodas available in the common dining area. (The website said... After looking at the place online, and reading the great reviews, I called to talk to the inkeeper with every intent to book a reservation. I asked her about the different rooms and when she quoted a price higher than the one shown on her website, I told her I had indicated the month and date on the form, and... More

The inn is in town, a short, pleasant walk to the plaza with lots of dining options (if you're traveling with kids, be sure to stop in at Twirl). It's about 20 minutes from the ski area. The drive is very manageable. It's about the same distance from Taos Gorge, a don't-miss-it sight. There are several rooms in the inn... More

This is a beautiful property, what I think a B&B should be. I stayed in the Taos room. I am a little short/wide so the shower stall was challenging for me. I DID NOT want to touch that cold tile in the morning(lol). Liked the fact the room had a back entrance that was convenient for the dog and I.... More

Comfortable sleep conditions, spacious bedroom, polite staff and average breakfast equals an average rating. Having experienced some of the best B&Bs in the country, I would consider this a good value at a price of $125 per night. Paying over $200 per night leads me to look somewhere else next time in town.

My husband and I have stayed at the La Posada in Taos, NM, on previous trips to the area. The ladies who run the inn could not be more friendly and accommodating. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the breakfasts are delicious and coffee is ready EARLY...which is great. This B&B is off in a neighborhood, so it is nice... More

Visiting New Mexico as a treat for my husband's 50th birthday, we chose La Posada as the place to wake up on his big day and we couldn't have been happier. The common spaces are charming, our room was nicely decorated and felt like an authentic Southwestern experience, and the breakfast was obviously created with thoughtfulness. Although the streets in... More

This is a great place to stay to explore the plaza and surrounding area. The rooms are typical of the area, clean & comfortable. We stayed in two different rooms because of availability at the time. The breakfast was very nice, all around a large table. This promoted lots of visiting among the guests-enjoyable and informative. The hostesses were helpful... More
