Dream Catcher is run by a wonderful couple, Prudy and John, who have found their encore career as B&B innkeepers. The location is walking distance (15 min) to the square, in a secluded area just west of the center. It takes a bit of navigating the fist time. The layout does not feel like a B&B actually more like a... More

Thanks for your detailed review of the Dreamcatcher. John and I really do enjoy helping our guests make the most of their Taos experience, and we try our best to exceed people's expectations when they stay with us. Our email confirmation includes directions for finding us, but we will try to re-word it to make it even easier to find... More

This was an anniversary (33) getaway from nearby Santa Fe. Hosts Prudy and John are real innkeepers...competent, social, helpful, and generally everything is "as advertised". The property is lovely and well maintained with a good measure of charm, functionality (satellite and wi-fi), some efforts at being green, and even a cute, non-yappy, friendly dog, Jake. Breakfast is generous, prepared to... More

It is the very rare B&B that gets the three crucial elements right: a physical plant appropriate for paying guests, great amenities and creature comforts, and -- perhaps most vitally -- innkeepers suited to the job, who are genuinely pleased to see you and invite you in like family. Nine out of ten B&Bs fall short in at least one... More

A friend and I spent 6 nights in the dreamcatcher suite. The Rooms are comfortable and warm. John and Prudy are very accommodating and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. John provides a wonderful breakfast. thanks so much for making our stay in Taos memorable.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm working on John to plan a trip to Auckland, so we can see your beautiful part of this world. In the meantime, Spring is coming to Taos, the ski season is over, so let the river rafting begin! John is continuing to try new things for breakfast. His latest hit is savory pancakes... More

Our family of eight enjoyed a very pleasant stay at The Dreamcatcher B&B. We were four couples who rented four cottages. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully decorated and in a quiet but convenient location. The breakfasts were gourmet, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Adequate on-site parking as well. We were very pleased with our stay.

Dreamcatcher is just a short walk away from the square in Taos. It is comfortable and lovely. John and Prudy are warm and accommodating, Jake, the Inn dog is delightful, and the breakfast was perfect. I look forward to coming back again.

We visited on a snowy day in winter and it was so nice to be welcomed in their warm lobby area. The rooms were beautifully decorated. We stayed at the Suite which is two bedrooms with one bathroom. The bathroom was small but nice. It was overall a very pleasant experience with the B&B. Breakfast was nice too, and it... More

The resident dog, Jake, greets you with warmth and enthusiasm, which characterizes the approach of the humans, also, Trudy and John are available and helpful without being intrusive. We were scheduled for the Fetish Bear Room, but discovered its heat was not functioning; John immediately moved us into the upgraded Gecko Room (see below). Gourmet breakfasts were wonderful; John is... More

Over the winter holiday, we stayed here in the Dreamcatcher suite which is a two-room suite each with a queen sized bed. The husband-wife innkeeper duo John and Prudy run this tidy and cozy place. John helped with my reservation and I was looking forward to meeting him but alas he was away when we arrived. Pros and highlights: -... More

This is one of those places that when you step inside you want to clap your hands together like you did as a child and then let yourself fall onto the bed and wiggle your toes deep down into the blankets. Plus, ON TOP OF THAT, there is endless coffee and cookies, a fuzzy friend that welcomes you, and story... More
