We rented their most exclusive suite which was nicely furnished, however, the fire place did not work. Brian, the afternoon clerk, told us maintenace would fix it. They never showed up. It was a cold stay. The exercise room had out dated equipment that was rusted and not maintained; there was no drinking water available for anyone using the exercise... more

Me, my husband, our 8 year old son, and our 15 year old son splurged for the first time on a nice place to stay during our annual ski trip. I found Las Chimeneas online, called, and booked it. It was a bit out of our price range but we decided that we would cut the ski trip short a... more

What they didn't say was the third person would be on an extremely uncomfortable roll-away positioned right in the walkway in the small living room. When we were delivered to our room, the rollaway and a... more

Our family (mself, wife, 14 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter) stayed at Casa de las Chimeneas for 1 night on our way to a ski vacation at Taos Ski Valley. We arrived very late (around midnight) after an 11+ hour drive from the Grand Canyon. We stayed in La Sala de Patron, booking the room the same... more

Although listed as a B&B, Casa de Las Chimeneas often serves a light supper, too, from 5 to 6:30 pm. Home-cooked food was very good, and staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. They also gave us lots of good guidance about things to do and see in the area. Our room was spacious... more

We stayed 2 night in La Sala de Patron suite and it was wonderful! There was a hot air baloon festival going on and we sat out on the porch and watched the wonderful baloons for hours. The people were very friendly and meals were included. Taos is a lovely city, lots of art studios, but a bit crowded, even... more

The best thing about our stay was our room. It was large, tastefully decorated with southwest flair, contained a very nice bathroom, and there were even warm robes in the closet! There are very beautiful fireplaces in each room, hence the name Casa de las Chimeneas. Also available are complimentary beverages, a computer with internet access for guest use, an... more
