Casa Benavides is conveniently located just a block from the main plaza in Taos. There is enough free parking all around the hotel. Breakfast was included in our rate and the food and service was very good. Our guest room was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit small for a couple. We've become accustom to more counter top space... More

As part of a big road trip for 4 Brits, we wanted to see some smaller towns and taos fit the bill! Casa benavides was chosen based on price and location, very close to the square and galleries but cheaper than staying in the square. The 2rooms we had were both amazing, ours had a full kitchen and gorgeous living... More

It is just a short walk to the central area of Taos. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. There are New Mexico style rooms and "Victorian" rooms. Suit your taste. The main building has interesting art and is beautifully furnished. The breakfast is substantial and delicious. The afternoon "tea" is a cake, pastry and cookie-holics paradise. You... More

lovely place to stay in Taos. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast and beautiful kitchen. They said they didn't accept discounts and special offers, though clearly they have one on this site. Attempted to check in Taos, though Internet connection on the phone wasn't working.

We wanted a nice and clean place to stay close to the square in Taos so we could walk down every day. This is the spot. The room was clean and reflected the history of Taos in the fireplace, ceiling and flooring. The skylight over the bed (Jemez Room) woke us early, but that was fine for use. Breakfast was... More

The rooms were beautiful and cozy, very clean, and mirrored the town very well. The breakfast was okay, but the afternoon tea was fun. It was in a great location right down the street from old town/historic Taos.

Located within walking distance of the plaz this is a large facility but doesn't seem big with rooms around courtyards or in separate buildings. Breakfast includes juice, fresh fruit, ttasty granola, hot dish to order, and muffins. Servers are friendly and attentive.

We actually came back to Taos specially to stay at this hotel again. It is beautiful, well-appointed, GREAT breakfast and afternoon tea with freshly baked goodies, helpful staff, great location, lots of rooms to choose from, each one unique and beautiful. Could not ask for anything more. Perhaps our favorite hotel in all our travels.

We stayed here 3 nights. As the title indicates the hotel is in the middle of town so it allows one to walk around to shops and galleries. The hotel itself is clean and decorated nicely. The problems I found were: *The king size bed was old and well used. In other words it was a "role to the middle... More

We only planned on staying here for one night, then moving on to Santa Fe. We loved our room & experience so much we stayed another night. So happy we did! The room was absolutely perfect! Great wood burning fireplace, Spanish tiled bathroom & High Desert decor. The breakfast was sensational! Best granola ever. We even bought a pound to... More
