This is the second time we have stayed here. This place isNM beautiful with the vigas and huge ceiling beams and nice decor, but very much out of our normal price range. Since there are no taxis in Taos which could shuttle us from the much less expensive hotels outside the center, we have twice stayed at Casa Benavides as... More

We have traveled to Taos many, many times over the years and always stayed at Casa Benavides. After a five year hiatus we decided it was time to go back. I was almost afraid to book here again- you know how things can change after an extended period. But I'm happy to report CB is just as wonderful as it... More

There is a lot of pride taken in this property by the owners who are both onsite and working at the morning breakfast service. They clearly enjoy having visitors and great everyone warmly. The staff was friendly and helpful at check-in and for breakfast. The granola at breakfast is fantastic - super flavorful and fresh - not some old dry... More

Only reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is because the wifi is only available in the lobby, and only during the hours of 9am-7pm or something close to that. My sister and I were traveling around New Mexico and cell service was near impossible in a lot of places, it would have been perfect to be able to... More

We enjoyed our stay, relaxed comfortable and totally Taos. Breakfast - wonderful. Tea - Wonderful. Rooms, comfortable and what you would expect for a Taos B&B. Love this town and the feel you get when there. Sheets clean, rustic atmosphere. Enough said. Enjoy this B&B with that cool, go with the flow attitude.

Casa Benavides proved to be a perfect choice for my partner and I on our two-night stay in Taos. It is not the cheapest place in town, but few others even come close to beating the location. If you want to be walking distance to practically everything in downtown Taos without the noise of the traffic, bars, and restaurants this... More

The location of the bed and breakfast could not be better as it is on Kit Carson around the corner from the Taos Inn near galleries and museums. There is private parking. Our bedroom was clean but rather plain, but the bath was lovely with lots of tile work. The breakfast was very good and everything was delivered to our... More

The room was quite large, comfortable and decorated with antiques and paintings from the old west. This is a 38 unit hotel not a bed and breakfast in the usual sense. The food served by a substantial staff was adequate but not up to what is served in most bed and breakfasts. The only wifi is in the lobby area,... More

We stay here every August for the past 6 years. We have stayed in 3 different rooms and enjoyed each one. The water flow in The Blue Lady was a little low and chilly. The bathroom in the Azteca is quite small, cannot have more than one person in there at once. We enjoy the hot tub and loved the... More

This B and B was recommended to us by friends who live in Santa Fe, and Casa Benavides did not disappoint. The buildings are classic Taos, and each room is apparently unique. The afternoon tea was a large spread of deserts and the breakfast was a large spread that included almost everything we could have wanted, all well prepared and... More
