Wonderful service, comfortable rooms, incredible spa - ask for Jessie - best massage ever. The property is really amazing and worth taking a day off hiking to enjoy the many amenities. The gym was clean, pool and hot tub area serene.

The property itself is amazing... The Mountain Rooms are really nice and modern. Now the service... I expected much more from a hotel of this quality / at this price point. We checked in at 4 and our room wasn't ready. Not too big of a deal as they were able to move us to a room that was ready.... More

This is a stunning hotel. Lovely southwestern decor. Very peaceful with lovely landscaped grounds. Our room had a nice small patio looking out on a pretty grassy area. Excellent food. Convenient location. The hotel is pricey but is worth it for a special experience!

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour group in May, 2015. The hotel is a bit odd, but sort of shabby posh, too. We did not care for a glass panel between the shower and the toilet stall -- call us prudes. Our group's dinner tables all had very, very long waits for getting their first food,... More

Having read previous reviews, we were expecting good things about this hotel, but we were left feeling disappointed. This started at check in when we ended up having to wait nearly an hour for our room to be cleaned and we were not the only one's. The phrase I heard the polite reception staff used frequently in that hour was... More

We stayed 2 nights in a Taos Mountain Room and very much enjoyed our stay. The room layout worked well for my husband and I and offered plenty of room to stash a crib for our 2 year old in the corner. The room was very nicely and uniquely furnished and clean, and the bathroom was great. From reading other... More

This was our first stay in an Autograph Collection Hotel and it was a little underwhelming. We did like our choice of a Casita Room with fireplace although it was dark for our taste. The property does not flow well - getting to the room was circuitous as was getting to the spa. The fireplace did not work but they... More

This hotel is somewhat difficult to evaluate or rate. From the brochures and web site this appears to be a great place to stay and frankly it is. There are some drawbacks and I will discuss those later. Located just a short distance from downtown Taos, this hotel is located on several acres of ground. Rates vary quite a lot... More

We stayed only one night here and wished we could have stayed more. This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff. Our suite was fabulous, complete with soaker tub and a kiva fireplace in the sitting area. The grounds are magnificent. You don't even know you are in a hotel. We plan to return to Taos and plan to... More

The property and amenities are nice. However, the attention to detail is severely lacking, especially by the housekeeping staff. Our room had several cobwebs all over the beams in the ceiling, really bad carpet stains, and a soiled/stained washcloth in one of the closets. We expected much better for the price and the 4-star rating. We thought a property with... More
