Great RV park!! Nice contrast to the other RV parks in the area where you feel you are parked in a parking lot with no privacy. Sierra Village has more private camping areas with many trees! This RV park is near Carson National Forest and only about 3-4 miles to Taos Plaza. There are nature trails up the mountain and... More

This place has pros and cons. I live in New Mexico and its hard to find camp grounds with trees. This is a nice little park that has seen better days. The place needs some work but as the owners is a very sweet and genrerous older gent I do not think he will be putting a lot of money... More

This little RV park has a "you are welcome" ambience. The owner is a sweet, knowledgeable man whom you feel you have known your entire life. Granted, it needs a little facelift, but everything works, and works well. We particularly enjoyed the no cell phone aspect. The canyon drive is breathtaking, and the location is easy access to anywhere in... More

We were really torn about where to stay near Taos.... We wanted pretty, not treeless, so we decided on Sierra Village despite the bad reviews. Truly, choices are limited for camping near Taos! I would definitely not say "the worst ever." But it wasn't good, either! We wanted to like it, as the dear man who runs/owns it is so... More

Looking at web site you would think you are going to a 5 star rv resort. It was the exact opposite. A badly neglected, run down, small sites, the web site says it will accommodate 40 motor homes. That's not true I could hardly get in and get the hell out of there with my 30 ft motorhome. Water, sewer... More

Nothing great here. Basic camp sites. A bit rundown. Nice people. Not a lot of choices for camping at Taos. We have small trailer. Just off highway 64-literally. Quieter than we thought as not much traffic at night.

This place is so run down.....I was shocked that it had been given good ratings by ANYONE. There are exposed electrical wires at each site, there are two road construction horses at end of gravel drive just sitting there serving no purpose, there are piles of trash at entrance, the grounds are ugly, the picnic tables are very rustic, there... Nice location and I liked that there was a creek and it had trees (not just a parking lot). It did seem a little run down and could use some improvments. I liked that we were able to reserve a spot last minute before a holiday that had hookups and wifi.

We ended up staying two days instead of one night, parked by a sweet creek under trees with excellent wifi and peace and quiet. The road noise is only at rush hour not at night and modest in the daytime. The owner is bright and fun to talk with. Can't imagine any of the other Taos parks could compete with... More

We pulled in early Friday evening. We drove through this quaint family owned RV park and Campground and found the perfect camp site along the mountain side. We were welcomed personally by the owner. A very friendly fellow with lots to share about the area and it's Historical background. We met lots of great folks around the campground some retirees... More
