When I return to Taos I will not hesitate to return to El Pueblo Lodge. While the grounds are nothing super fancy, they are well kept and provide everything you need and plenty of what you want. It's easy to find and very close to Taos' Plaza. The staff were all SUPER nice to us, memorably so. They even offer... More

Breakfast was hot, awesome, and plentiful. That was the difference maker for me. Room had plenty of space for me traveling solo. Nice bed, TV, sitting chair with ottoman, minifridge. I slept very well. The single rooms are mostly in a one-story building. Plus I was there on Mon/Tues and the staff was smart enough to put people in every... More

I stayed for an overnight with my kids. The Lobby and rooms had nice Southwestern touches. Staff friendly. Breakfast was delicious and eating area was nice. A pleasant departure from soulless hotel chains.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms and the king size bed was very comfortable! We had our 3 dogs with us. The staff was warm and welcoming. The continental breakfast was filling. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Taos.

Came here because of the rave reviews and a special Groupon deal. Warm cookies at check-in. Staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a fireplace at no extra charge. Room was spotless and Riki the housekeeper kept us supplied in firewood. A huge shoutout to the talented Jerry who was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was... More

This is a fantastic little hotel. The service and staff were incredible and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel has outside entrances with a swimming pool and picnic grounds in the center. The location is exceptional, and very near the main square. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it.

For our first trip to Taos we decided to stay in a local motel instead of a national chain hotel. It was a pleasant experience. This is an old motel so our room was a little cramped (two double beds and three occupants) and had a slight musty smell, but was otherwise clean. The bathroom was on the small side... More

We really enjoyed how clean the place was. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent everyday with many variety to choose from. I also enjoyed the evening cookies and chips and salsa after we got back from skiing. Lastly, location to other very good restaurants for dinner was also a bonus. We felt like we received more than we... More

We stayed at this hotel and was very happy with our choice! The room itself was clean and large compared to other hotels. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast that was included was good and offered a variety of options. We definitely would stay here again! And, dogs are welcomed!

We generally try to rent houses when we go on vacation, but landed in Taos without previous arrangements during a September Southwest trip. El Pueblo Lodge was the first place we tried and we were fortunate to get the last room available. We were very pleasantly surprised in the quaint, modest and spacious room. We swam in the pool and... More
