The people and the staff that run this hotel are tops at what they do. You are made to feel comfortable by reception staff and the two gentle Labs that live there. The breakfast is quiet good and looked over by a very caring attendant, who always makes sure your coffee cup is filled. Our room had the wow factor,... More

Everything about this motel charmed me in '12, so I returned. Two days became four. I didn't want to leave. The staff are sincerely cheerful. The atmosphere and room decor feel authentically old southwest, no pretension but artful. Clearly loved and well cared for. Clean, well appointed. Great beds and luxurious sheets. Nice breakfast that's a far cut above the... More

El Pueblo may surprise you, as it looks like a simple, old hotel but is really quite a bit more than that. The rooms are very clean and comfortable; my wife and I stayed in a King room that was quite large with a little patio in front and a working fireplace complete with wood and fire starter. It was... Very well priced. Working fireplace in the room provided with wood and kindling. Clean pool and great hot tub available. Breakfast was fine. Walk to plaza and central Taos. Parking at the door. Large room with dressing area and large bathroom.

We spent one night in a Casita at El Pueblo Lodge and it was really worth the money. The Casita was very comfortable and well equiped. Given the weather when we stayed there, we have greatly appreciated the fireplace. Last but not least, a real breakfast is served. And weather permitting, you can even have it in the patio.

In all honesty, I was surprised. I typically stay at smaller lodges, or B & B's. The room was clean, beds excellent, location handy to explore Taos, and the staff outstanding. What also surprised me was the hot breakfast with a variety including a gluten free table. After you serve yourself breakfast the staff comes around to refill coffee and... More

Been to Taos before and stayed at a different hotel but decided to try this one due to location and reviews on Trip Advisor. Stayed a couple days at this hotel which was very nice – rooms were very clean, grounds were very nice, complimentary breakfast was spectacular, and it was a very short walk to city center. The hotel... More

Clean, well cared for rooms. Friendly, attentive staff. Complimentary breakfast was ,varied and had a hot section-scrambled eggs, sausage, cream beef. TV was large, new; and bed was comfortable. Our room opened up to the grassy courtyard, and had chairs/sm table for sitting outside. We were very pleased and will stay again.

Very nice, clean, great hot tub, easy parking. Fantastic location. Staff were extremely friendly and food was yummy. And a good variety to choose from. Enjoyed the new flat screen TV at bedtime with many stations featured.

Comfortable room good bed and linen. Breakfast with a wide choice of foods/drinks, OK wi-fi. It's more of a tarted up motel though, the "lodge" moniker being a bit deceiving. Not too far from the town's historic center, doable by foot although we chose to drive.
