We dropped in without reservations this past Sunday night on our return trip from a few days in Colorado. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace. Will definitely return for a stay when the weather is conducive to walking into town and enjoying Taos.

Our stay with our dog was pleasant in this large and quaint motel. The rooms are huge and the grounds pleasant. The staff is very friendly, the included breakfast is good. Our only complaint was that the little boy upstairs ran and pounded from 6 AM on. Ask for one of the single-story rooms! There is a $15 pet fee.

We were on a long (one month) camping trip in the Southwest, but decided to stay in a motel in Taos. This place was great. Loved the fireplace with real wood. Rooms on the second floor have lovely balconies overlooking the lawn.

Our stay at El Pueblo in Taos kind of brought us back in time a little. The rooms have an "old style" to them but are comfortable. Most of them have a covered porch area out front with two "old time" metal chairs for you to rock and relax in. There was a pool for our use but we did... More

Stayed 1 night in early October. Nice property. Had fireplace that worked! Parking included. Good free breakfast. Right in town. Very well-priced at this time of year. Strongly recommended, especially for longer stays where you can use the amenities (barbeques etc).

If at all possible, we usually stay at historic hotels, and we had stayed at the wonderful Taos Inn several times. But a couple of years ago we had our dog with us and tried El Pueblo Lodge. It was a wonderful surprise. We stayed in the newer, two-story part of the motel (it is/was a "motor-court") which has really... More

This is a lovely motel set in gardens, individual and full of character. We had one of the single storey motel rooms which had a sitting area at front on a shaded terrace. The room was spacious,as was the bathroom. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and good coffee, it was particularly nice to sit in the rooms overlooking... More

After staying one night midweek I can't wait to go back! This place was so adorable and so very reasonable. The Hubby is gluten free and they had GF baked goodies at breakfast, the coffee was very good and was constantly refreshed by the sweet lady who worked breakfast. I loved the cute rooms and the beds were very comfortable.... More

The other recent positive reviews say it well. I would add that El Pueblo is authentic old Taos in design and atmosphere. The staff is pleasant and accommodating (we were able to switch from an upstairs room to a lower one on the plaza) even though they were almost full due to the balloon rally that weekend. It has the... More

This is a nice place to stay in Taos. It is not a Hampton Inn, or a Marriott, but it is a comfortable motel. It could use some freshening up, and a bid of garden and lawn clean up; bit good for a one night stay. The rooms are large and clean; beds comfortable. Staff is accomodating
