This place is not the Ritz, but then again, there is nothing really deluxe that we could identify in Taos. This place is, however, a good value for the money. The beds are VERY comfortable. Our King room was very spacious. It included a fireplace and a kitchenette. The price we paid was reasonable, and it included breakfast. There are... More

We only had one night at El Pueblo Lodge, but we're coming back! No doubt about it. Beautiful room, beautifully maintained property. Great pool. Lots of relaxing charm. And each room has a covered veranda in front with two chairs and a table! An amazing breakfast that far exceeded our expectations. We didn't want to leave. And then there was... More

El Pueblo is within walking distance to most in central Taos. Outside there is a sign that says "#1 on trip advisor and very comfortable beds" both were true. They have a lovely grassed in hangout area with chairs and shade. The included breakfast was just over average since they did have fresh fruit but other than that it was... More

Stayed here for 4 nights while mountain biking the national forest. The breakfast seating area was great. The property had BBQ equipment for guests and laundry facilities. I used the pool and hottub daily The room was more like a suite with the living area separate from the bedroom. Everything was clean and comfortable with little or no noise from... More

Well kept grounds, charming atmosphere, and employees dedicated to making your stay excellent. Breakfast was a treat every morning as we were well taken care of by Loopy. She made sure the coffee and conversation were flowing. Front desk staff was also helpful with suggestions on what to see and where to eat. The room was clean, quiet and bed... More

The only down side we found to El Pueblo Lodge was that we only had one night to stay there. It was so charming, the staff so welcoming, lovely fireplace with a fire log in our bedroom. Loved the room decor and it was sparkling clean. Honestly it felt more like a 5 star. The breakfast was also great, lovely... More

We picked this lodge because we wanted to do a walking tour of Taos. The location was perfect for this, close enough to walk but far enough out to be restful. The decor was unique, the room clean and comfortable, the hot tub was great (clean, hot and towels on hand), the laundry was convenient and the breakfast was well... More

At first glance this appears to be another tired old highway motel that time has passed over. However, you quickly find out different. The grounds are NICE, trees, grass, patios, horseshoes, etc. People are friendly. Our room 141, was quiet and quite large with chairs outside on the front and back porch. There was a distinct sense of charm to... More

I cannot say enough good words about this hotel. First the location- you cannot get closer, cleanliness- first rate, service- you ask for it you get it, breakfast- good. I found many things to eat hubby wanted waffles, room size- very good, bonuses- sitting area outside your room, quiet, pool, towels to wipe off your windshields in the morning, cookies... More

My husband and I traveled down to Taos, New Mexico for a vacation and we had never been there before. Everyone in the whole town and at our hotel were so friendly and went out of there way to help us. Would come back and stay and have already recommended people to stay there when they come down. Thank you!!
