My husband and I stayed 3 nights during the Bosque del Apache Festival of the Cranes. Terry our hostess was willing to make us delicious breakfast burritos at 5 am and the room was very comfortable. Highly recommended if you need an early start to bird watch!

This B&B has welcoming buttery saltillo floors and equally welcoming buttery muffins at the crack of dawn to prepare you for birding adventures. The authentic southwestern decor is enchanting, and the place is immaculate. Just get over the curb appeal, and you'll love it.

This Bed and Breakfast is small and the owners are quietly keeping the fight in the B & B world. They charge a good deal for the marvelous room, 140$US, but for a once and a lifetime visit and stay in the Socorro - sometimes you got to pay. The room was immaculate, so was the large bathroom. The bed... More

Great hospitality and killer breakfast. A comfy hideaway downtown, easy walking to the plaza and a number of eateries. Fabulous hostess Terry made sure I was taken care of even though I was off every morning at 5:30AM. Why stay in a sterile motel?

Terry works really hard to make sure you are comfortable and provides you with a delicious and very generous breakfast - in fact she cooked some excellent muffins and very kindly offered the remaining batch to us for our onward journey - we were as we arrived initially a little put-off by the 'kerb appeal' but do not let this... In a chain motel filled town it took a little extra effort to find this place. And when you arrive you have to wonder if you made the right choice, but once inside all is well. The little town of Socorro could use more places like this. The town itself is a victim of a highway bypass that sucks the... More

We stayed two nights here in December, and it was fantastic. It was a bit hard to find at night, when we arrived, but once inside, it was very warm and inviting. Terry was very helpful, and her breakfasts were fantastic. My mother is somewhat picky about food, and she loved Terry's cooking both mornings. The fresh baked muffins, with... More

We frequently visit Socorro, as we have family nearby, and have always stayed in one of the motels in town. This last visit, we decided to try the Old Town B&B and were in heaven over our decision. We were with our son, daughter-in-law and grand daughter and it could not have been more perfect. Comfortable beds, clean, beautiful and... More

Don't be put off or intimidated by the exterior--the Socorro Old Town Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful lodging once you get through the front door. Proprietors Terri and JP gutted an authentic adobe house just one block from the Socorro plaza and created a two-bedroom B&B with a comfortable, high-ceilinged common living room and a full kitchen. The outside... More

My wife and I stayed one night because I was there photographing birds. The room is clean and comfortable. We had the entire house for ourselves that night. Terry cooks excellent breakfast. What sets her apart from other B&B experience is her flexibility with breakfast. I would get up before sunrise to photograph birds and return around 9:30 to have... More
