Absolutely fantastic! This is Africa at it's best! For those wanting that bush experience in luxury then this is the place for you. Awesome facilities, ultra friendly staff and the best guides ever. The weekend was crowned by a Leopard sighting on foot while doing a guided walk arranged by Mosetlha. An experience of a lifetime!

We love the safari trips as well as the tented accommodations. Not a large hotel like you would find anywhere, but a real African experience. The guide we had very extremely knowledgeable about the Madikwe area and animals. We have been to Mosetlha twice and loved it both times. Would go back again

Dear Linda GG Thanks so much for your review - yes, all of our guides are very local (having been literally BORN in what is now the reserve, and/or attending primary school where the Parks Board head office now stands). We look forward to seeing you back for your third stay :) Best eco regards Caroline Lucas More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The bush-camp arrangements were basic but comfortable, and very well thought through. Host Chris was friendly, hospitable and very knowledgeable, and above all the game viewing opportunities realised by our guide Justice were outstanding.

Two of us visited in Jan 2016 for a couple of days so we had 4 game drives with Justice who was great at spotting the wildlife. Can't list everything we saw but it included lions with a kill a matter of feet from our vehicle, a leopard, elephants eating, elephants scratching, elephants with babies, rhino both black and white,... Just back from my third visit to Mosetlha. Just like coming home, the team is a happy company of long term colleagues who are brilliant at their job and communicate their enthusiasm to all who visit. Game drives were brilliant, animals were plentiful. The food was wonderful and the eco accomodation a great experience. Already booked for my next visit.

Guys. Go to Mosetlha. All the things the other reviewers have said are true: Mosetlha—named for a beautiful yellow-flowered tree around which the camp is built—was one of the most authentic, educational, warm, thrilling, and thought-provoking trips I've ever taken. My wife and I spent three nights in the camp, which is situated right in the middle of the Madikwe... More

Dear KoopsyKoopsy Wow, thank you! We really appreciate the time and thought you put into this fabulous review. (Think I'll just lift it as is and place on all our marketing material!) It was a joy and a pleasure having you with us - Chris, Justice and the others thoroughly enjoyed their time with you both. Hope to see you... More

My wife and I visited Mosetlha over the Christmas holiday in 2015 and have to say that this was truly a safari experience. Having been on a safari earlier we knew some of what to expect, however the eco-lodge tag made it all the more enjoyable as it does really take you back to basics. The descriptions offered on the... This was my children`s (12 and 10) very first safari experience. We took a risk, given the basic amenities at Mosetlha Bush Camp, but it was well worth it. In truth, this place offers much more than other lodges: an experience in the bush. The highlight was my daughter and I getting stuck in the fenced loo/shower enclosure, the exit... More

Dear ndstock Thanks so much for your lovely review - how thrilling to end up in the loo with Barnabus :) I so often use the term soul food to describe what you're "fed" at Mosetlha, I am delighted to see you feel the same. Hope to see you back soon. Thanks and best eco regards Caroline Lucas More

What can I say? When I visited Mosetlha a year and a half ago, I said I would be back, this time with my family. I dreamed of how they would love the hospitality, wonderful food, and spectacular game drives...and they exceeded my expectations once again. Mosetlha is basic, but charming...it is about the people and the reserve...the animals and... More

After all I'd experienced in South Africa, I had not expected that my best night sleep and the best hospitality to be in a bush camp. Shortly after been greeted by some vervet monkeys at the administration building, we were greeted by Johnny, who took us to the Mosethla camp in a very comfortable rover. Upon arrival, we were greeted... More

Dear AndyF Thank you SO MUCH for this wonderfully kind and detailed review. I love the way you divided it into 3 parts (and that the food got its own bit!). I must mention that the food is pretty much the same as it has been since we started! So for 21 years we have been serving Chutney Chicken prepared... More
