Before we had Dinner around the Lapa the first night, the lions started to roar! Enjoyed the sounds of the Bush every night. We saw 4 of the big 5 with our first game drive. The friendly and helpfull staff really spoiled us. Every day was special. We will return as soon as possible.

A fantastic lodge in a big five game reserve. Wonderful staff and facilities. In the first three game drives we got close to all 5 and many others too! Including a Leopard... Lions, cheetah , elephants, buffalo and zebra, buck, giraffe et all The lodges are well furnished and comfortable. Highly recommended

On our way from Nelspruit, we toured Hoedspruit & the surrounding areas & stayed at this lodge for 2 nights. We had the one section of the lodge to ourselves. Wonderful lodge...unfortunately it rained(stormy) for more than a day...idyllic setting, adjacent to the river. On our first game drive, we encountered seven lion...that was a phenomenal sight..Not seen in many... More

We were 8 adults and 2 children, choosing the self-catering option, but rented the chef. What a pleasure not having to cook! We stayed for 3 nights and went for a game drive every day, morning and afternoon. We had wonderful sightings of the big five. We stayed in the house Kambaku, ideal for families. The accommodation was excellent, and... More

Excellent leopard sightings, in 5 years of coming to Indlovu they were the best ever 4 different leopard in 4 days, Jonty and John and Billy were excellent with the boys keeping them entertained with nature "hot tips" and sampling termites! The cheetah walk was a highlight as were evening boma fires. Thanks Lizette for all your help.

We recently spent one night at the lodge going for a funeral at the nearby village, with a group of about 20 family members. A very good place for a family outing. The night fire at the Boma was one of the highlights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The views are out of this world!! Wish we had stayed... More

Just visited Indlovu River Lodge with good friends from the UK. We have been on safari together many times over the years and have very high expectations. Indlovu River Lodge did not disappoint and in many ways exceeded our expectations! I would like to thank Ilse and Jan, Jonty and Billy as well as Usher and the team for taking... More

We recently spent 4 days at the lodge, as guests of some very good friends. The place, for someone who has never before visited Africa, let alone the bush, was simply amazing (an over-used word, but entirely appropriate in this context). The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and polite. Jan and Ilse were exceptionally courteous and caring - Jonty (sp)... More

Recently visited Indlovu River Lodge. A very warm welcome from Ilse and her staff. Exceptional service. The best part about this place is that it is child friendly. Very clean accommodation. Game ranger (Jonty) gave us a very informative game drive. Thoroughly enjoyed the sighting of the lioness. Would definitely recommend this place to relax and enjoy the bush. Yasmin
