We were 8 adults and 2 children, choosing the self-catering option, but rented the chef. What a pleasure not having to cook! We stayed for 3 nights and went for a game drive every day, morning and afternoon. We had wonderful sightings of the big five. We stayed in the house Kambaku, ideal for families. The accommodation was excellent, and... More

Excellent leopard sightings, in 5 years of coming to Indlovu they were the best ever 4 different leopard in 4 days, Jonty and John and Billy were excellent with the boys keeping them entertained with nature "hot tips" and sampling termites! The cheetah walk was a highlight as were evening boma fires. Thanks Lizette for all your help.

We recently spent one night at the lodge going for a funeral at the nearby village, with a group of about 20 family members. A very good place for a family outing. The night fire at the Boma was one of the highlights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The views are out of this world!! Wish we had stayed... More

Just visited Indlovu River Lodge with good friends from the UK. We have been on safari together many times over the years and have very high expectations. Indlovu River Lodge did not disappoint and in many ways exceeded our expectations! I would like to thank Ilse and Jan, Jonty and Billy as well as Usher and the team for taking... More

We recently spent 4 days at the lodge, as guests of some very good friends. The place, for someone who has never before visited Africa, let alone the bush, was simply amazing (an over-used word, but entirely appropriate in this context). The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and polite. Jan and Ilse were exceptionally courteous and caring - Jonty (sp)... More

Recently visited Indlovu River Lodge. A very warm welcome from Ilse and her staff. Exceptional service. The best part about this place is that it is child friendly. Very clean accommodation. Game ranger (Jonty) gave us a very informative game drive. Thoroughly enjoyed the sighting of the lioness. Would definitely recommend this place to relax and enjoy the bush. Yasmin

One night was far too short a stay and we look forward to returning to this wonderful warm and welcoming Lodge. We are accommodated literally as a last minute booking and Ilse and Jan went out of their way to get our accommodation ready and comfortable. Our kiddies had an absolute ball in the gorgeous garden, the swimming pool and... More

Since our arrival at Indlovu River lodge we were treated to personal attention to detail and excellent service. Our personal guide, tracker & chef made the stay a very pleasant expierence! The lonely appointed Shingwedzi unit with great river views and awesome sundowners will be something to remember!!

We recently stayed at Indlovu River Lodge and I have to say that it was the absolute highlight of our holiday in South Africa. It was just my idea of a perfect getaway in the bush for a couple of simple reasons: First of all the warm and friendly welcoming by Sandra, Stuart, Johnty and the rest of the team... More

Me and my wife stayed at Indlovu River Lodge for a short break in December. We were greeted upon arrival by Sandra, Stuart and the team. They made sure we were welcomed and settled in. The Lodge has everything you need and more. The full board meals was something out of this world, Usher, our chef is a great asset... More
