Had the fortune to stay two nights in room number 2 with a stunning vista. The service and food was really good and the wine list was fair. Abel our ranger was a standout as knowledge and passion combined make for a very memorable wild life experience!

Bayethe Lodge on the Shamwari Game Reserve is like entering paradise. The tented lodge is beautiful , the beds are very comfortable and the heated blankets for the cold nights was bliss. The wonderful rolled topped bath was great for relaxing in after the Game Drives. The food is delicious with plenty of choice and the service outstanding nothing is... More

We have just returned from our honeymoon where we started off with 3 nights at Long Lee Manor. From the moment we arrived in the early afternoon with a warm welcome, cool towel and homemade lemonade, we knew we would love this place. After a swift check in, we were taken to our room which overlooked 'the bush' (quite an... More

We had the privilege of staying at the Sarili Lodge at Shamwari for 3 nights in August. Despite it being winter the weather was beautiful blue skies and 24 degrees during the day. The standard of accommodation was of the highest calibre - clean, spacious, luxurious with every attention to detail. The service was outstanding with helpful and friendly staff... More

We spent 3 nights at Bayethe Tented Camp and were thrilled with the accommodation. The "tents" are a traveller's delight with many luxury features. Although I didn't care to brave the outdoor shower, my husband did and loved it! The staff are extremely friendly and service-orientated. My only criticism would be that the High Tea was just a few eats... More
