We stayed for a couple of nights at the Bayethe lodge and had a wonderful time. Rooms were spacious, with all amenities you could seek for and at the same time in touch with the surrounding environment. This is the closest you can get to staying in a tent in the wilderness while enjoying the luxury of a 5 star... More

My husband and I stayed at Bayethe Tented Camp in October 2013. Everything about this place is absolutely fastastic. We have travelled extensively including other places in Africa and Bayethe is our favourite place so far. The "tents" were gorgeous. Beautifully decorated with a full luxurious bathroom (indoor tub and outdoor shower). Colourful flower petals were placed around the room... More

The gamedrives were amazing. We saw to different groups of lions eating prey, cheeta´s eating prey ,black rhino, white rhino, cape leopard+++ We must have been very lucky! If you didn´t know you would not be able to tell if you are in Kruger ore Shamwari on the game drives. The food was excellent and the service first class. We stayed at... More

After much deliberating over which of the Shamwari Lodges we should go for , we spent 4 nights in April 2014 in Bayethe Lodge. We are SO glad we chose this one - our "tent" was just superb (glamping in it s finest form) and honestly we cannot fault in anyway whatsoever the whole experience. As our first Safari experience... An excellent time was had. The game drives were excellent due to the excellent guide who was fully knowledgeable about the park and the animals. The accommodation was to a very high standard and the staff where easy and pleasant to speak too.

We stayed for 6 nights at Bayethe Lodge in the middle of May and in the words of our children (a 22 and 20 year old!) we had the best experience of our lives. We were initially worried that 6 nights might have been too long for a Safari, but we needn't have worried, in fact it wasn't long enough,... More

We stayed for 6 days at Eagles Crag in June 2014 and had the most wonderful time. The food and accommodation was excellent. The Game drives were superb. Whilst we saw a great variety of game it was the proximity to truely wild animals that was most stunning. We were not about counting numbers (although we did see a great... More

We stayed in Bayethe Tented Lodge and from our arrival to when we left, the reserve, the accommodation, and the people truly made this an unforgettable experience for us. My husband and I could not have asked to be treated any better. We were also privileged in sharing our game drives with a wonderful group of people from all over... More
