We have just returned from our Africa journey and Kings Camp was definitely one of the highlights. If you go, make sure to take advantage of the walking tours after the delicious breakfast....truly educational (plus the exercise feels good after all the fabulous food they serve). We even had our ranger learn how to make martinis for sundowners. Favorite memory... more

WOW,WOW,WOW!!!...Did I say WOW!! Kings Camp, was everything I excepted and more. When you go on safaris, it's a lotto...go with the expectations you'll see impalas, and you'll be happy when you see more, but at Kings Camp, we saw more all right....how about 2 cats a day (lions and leopards). Kings Camp has excellent rangers, we were lucky enough... more

Stayed at the Lodge for work purpose and found it fantastic, again another 5* property where you have great comfort and great food. The game viewing is great too, rangers/trackers have great knowledge. The accommodation part is top standards, more

What can we say about this place?!?!? Firstly anyone who has never been on safari before – DO IT !!! Put simply we both had an amazing time, part just the marvel of being so remote with some of the most amazing animals and also in part due to the excellent Kings Camp. After arrival at Hoedspruit, we were soon... more

This was our only time on safari to date and I have to say it was thoroughly enjoyable and were I to do it again I would definitely consider going back to King's Camp. The accommodation is perfect, 10 separate huts in a compound in... more

We stayed for two nights at Kings Camp in July (Winter). We arrived by car, driving from KMI aiport. We got to the camp about 2 in the afternoon and the service and welcome were excellent. On being shown to our room we could see a couple of elephants in front of the camp which had been drinking in the... more

The rooms at Kings Camp are nice, but if you're going to see animals don't go here. Our ranger took us out twice a day and drove us in circles. I felt like I was on a tour of nothing. I do understand that animals are not always out, but our ranger and tracker did not even try. If you... more

Just returned from a three centre safari in South Africa and had the best time ever! Kings Camp is situated in the north of the Kruger Park and you fly in directly from Johannesburg so really easy. Wasn;t sure what to expect at Kings Camp as it's much cheaper than the other two we stayed at...but it was brilliant and... more

We just got back from a three week South African trip. The best part was our safari was staying at Kings Camp which is in the Timbavati Reserve at Kruger. I have traveled extensively and Kings Camp was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Ten private huts make up Kings Camp. The camp only holds 20 people... more
