This camp has been a sentimental favorite since our first visit many years ago and we liked it even more this time. We had great game drives and enjoyed our luxury "tents". One night our guide to the tent spotted a leopard in the bushes and was able to show it to us with the flashlight! Thrilling stuff! The meals... More

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Tanda Tula as part of our honeymoon. We had incredible 'up close' encounters with leopards, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, antelope (of all forms), hyenas and more. Our guides and trackers went the extra mile to ensure we had an amazing experience (and were extremely professional). The tents and the... More

Tanda Tula was the first stop on our honeymoon in South Africa and after our 4 nights there, we told ourselves we could have gone back home right then and been satisfied. Everything far exceeded our expectations. Having no prior knowledge of safari camps, it was a daunting search to find a place for us but the previous TripAdvisor reviews... More

This was the perfect holiday for a family with older teenagers. Everyone was engaged and had an incredible experience. Every safari had something amazing to see, and we saw so much. The tents were great, and the main lodge was very inviting. Special thanks to Dale, Civilised and Jack, and to Chef Ryan. Loved the bush breakfasts and the formal... More

I went to Tanda Tula with my family last month. Since we arrived, they made us feel like home. The crew is just amazing. Super kind people and very professional. The place is beautiful. I loved the experience. The food was delightful. Our guide (Brett Horley) was awesome, from the minute the Safari started, we could tell this guy knew... More

The series of tents here are tall and under a roof with a built bathroom attached so it is luxurious if cold at night in the winter (but there was an electric blanket in the bed). The situation is great, with a waterhole right there on the other side of the swimming pool. Game wander through the camp at all... More

We had the tremendous fortune to spend two nights at the Tanda Tula Safari Camp. What an absolutely amazing experience! I would highly recommended this property to those people that want a more rustic safari adventure without sacrificing creature comforts. The “tents” were extremely well appointed and comfortable without losing the idea that you are "camping out" in the wild.... More

We stayed at 4 camps in South Africa on this trip, and Tanda Tula was our definite favorite. The camp itself is welcoming and very comfortable; staff welcoming and helpful; grounds well maintained and situated; and the tents, if you really want to call them that, amazing – overall deserving of its great rating. However, you cannot separate accommodations from... More

Thank you for such a wonderful review. We are extremely fortunate to live in a reserve that offers such wildlife diversity. We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed our bush breakfast as this is a big favourite for many of our guests. Just the other day we had a few elephants join us briefly before moving on (our rangers... More

We stayed three nights at Tanda Tula. The chef, Ryan, is a delight and his food is beautiful, some local venison to try, nicely balanced cuisine and food experience. The breakfast camp is a wonderful idea. Scotch and Sam our team in the safari truck were number one. Ask Scotch about the birds, he knows so much. The tents are... More

Simply superb in every way. Service with a smile and genuine passion go a long way to making a great safari. Excellent food, very comfortable lodgings, first class guides. Tough to find a fault. We spent one night in the "star bed" - highly recommended for those who are looking for something different.

Hi Simon We thoroughly enjoyed having you and Lizz in camp. We are really excited about the new star bed experience, so this feedback is fantastic. Hopefully we'll see you both again in the near future. All the best, Don and Nina More
