Although, the hotel was being freshened up, new paint, etc. The accommodations were still comfortable and restful. The area of the hotel was quiet and kind of tucked-away from the main road, which gave it a really restful place. Everything was well-kept and neat. The breakfast area was clean and space-wise, very accommodating .

This hotel is quiet and serene in a tourist town. It is located on a hill above the racetrack, but far enough away to be quiet. Located in the pine trees with lovely grounds, it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Holly (manager) is a very nice lady and all the staff were very helpful. Even... More

It was better than La Quinta in Dallas. Room was clean, Bed was a little too firm for me. Heater worked, but did always blew warm air. Other than that is was okay. Breakfast was great, Plenty of food and plenty of seating. Grounds were excellent . Staff was great.

We found this place online on a last minute booking. It is right across from the Billy the Kid Casino. It's not too far from other restaurants. The shops are a little further down the road but no more than 10 min. It was convenient to hiking locations. Breakfast was included, and microwave and fridge were in room. There really... More

This is a small BW, however they have everything; pool, hot tub, and a great breakfast. We have only been during the winter, however I can only imagine sitting out in the court yard during the summer. I bet it is amazing. And, it is directly across the street from the race track.

Good location , horrible service , watch out for sneaky credit card charges, like undeclared pet fine $250, when their own invoice charged pet fee on the check in date. How can you charge the pet fee and undeclared pet fine. When their own corporate records show we reserved the room with a small dog (?) Stayed at many other... More

As a pet friendly hotel, we require the pet to be announced at check in and we have pet policies we require to be adhered to. When the policies are not adhered to and there are damages to the room or items in the room, we do charge a cleaning fee or a fee to replace/repair those items. When a... More

We stayed at this motel for two nights on a recent trip to New Mexico. We enjoyed our stay and I will list the pros and cons. Pros: Well-maintained with lovely wooded grounds and away from the highway Large room, very clean Very nice grassy area with small bridges between buildings, perfect for children Cons: Noisy, if you are in... There are both good and bad things to consider about this hotel: GOOD: Staff is exceptionally friendly. Free breakfast is free and has more choices than a continental offering. Rooms were clean. BAD: Price was well inflated (~$170 a night for a double bed room) and discounts which are generally accepted were rejected due to it being an "event weekend".... More
