Good location , horrible service , watch out for sneaky credit card charges, like undeclared pet fine $250, when their own invoice charged pet fee on the check in date. How can you charge the pet fee and undeclared pet fine. When their own corporate records show we reserved the room with a small dog (?) Stayed at many other... More

As a pet friendly hotel, we require the pet to be announced at check in and we have pet policies we require to be adhered to. When the policies are not adhered to and there are damages to the room or items in the room, we do charge a cleaning fee or a fee to replace/repair those items. When a... More

There are both good and bad things to consider about this hotel: GOOD: Staff is exceptionally friendly. Free breakfast is free and has more choices than a continental offering. Rooms were clean. BAD: Price was well inflated (~$170 a night for a double bed room) and discounts which are generally accepted were rejected due to it being an "event weekend".... More

Loved it, very little wrong. The not so good: small bathroom, beds a little hard, no elevators to upper floor. The good: service, rooms were roomy, good lcd tv/cable offerings, clean, breakfast was full breakfast with enough offerings, service good, noon checkout. The great: right in front of Ruidoso downs, very very picturesque, right next to national retail store, minimum... More

We have stayed here three times. There are numerous advantages to staying here than the other BW in town. Unfortunately, however, there are several downsides. Listed are a few of the problems we encountered: - On our second night, we found ants all over the bathroom floor, toilet, tub, and sink - We could smell tobacco smoke in our bathroom... More

This hotel is a nice, secluded place to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The rooms have outside entries, which is a negative as far as security goes. The area was well lighted.

The hotel was very clean, quiet, and secluded. This hotel is very nice place to stay when you want away from the hustle and bustle of the highway and other businesses. The mountain area is very quiet and great for couples who just want a nice get away. The rooms were spacious but yet cozy and the staff were very... More
