We had a great 4 days at N'kaya with great hospitality and unbelievable game drives thanks to the brilliant tracking of Anders and the ever informative Dean. What marks this place out from others is with only 8 people staying there, you feel really close to the bush, and when you set out on the game drives it feels like... More

We stayed at the lodge for 4 nights for our honeymoon in 2012 and are so glad we did. The food was wonderful, the staff were absolutely lovely, and the safari was fantastic! The game drives here are much better than in the larger Kruger park because the driver can take you off the trail and right up to the... More

Invited by a friend and neighbour which turned out to be an amazing experience when we spend 3 days at this outstanding game lodge. Welcomed by Leandra. the manager, who was the perfect hostess. The accommodation was outstanding and the meals were really great, with the quality, variety and quantity exceptional. On the final night we had our dinner in... More

Upon arrival we received a warm friendly welcome from Leandra the on site manager. The individual huts with his and her bathrooms were just as we had hoped. A lovely peaceful lodge with a maximum of eight guests meant we always had personal service and had the last 2 game drives to ourselves as the other guests had left. Dean... More

We recently stayed at N'Kaya for 2 nights and were somewhat underwhelmed by the experience overall. The accommodations are very good, well maintained, spacious and comfortable. Not as private as some lodges we have visited as all the rooms face inwards towards the pool area. We liked the outdoor eating areas and the hide over the water hole. Whilst we... More

Fantastic two nights at this remarkable game lodge, excellent food, cooked fresh for us in the company of the trackers, Dean, Bex and Anders, luxury accommodation in self contained little thatched bungalows. Game drives were excellent - saw the big five and many more thanks to the skill of our tracker Anders and our driver Bex. The setting of this... More

Stayed 2 nights at this amazing lodge. 20 mins transfer from main lodge so you truely feel you are in the wilderness. Great welcome and safe compound. 4 two person separate accommodation pods with lounge, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful bedroom set up. Main lodge was awesome, bar overlooking a waterhole where many animals amble past as you sip ice... More

We've stayed at the N'Kaya Lodge during our honeymoon and only for 2 nights. This was the only bad!!! After you arrive, you only want to stay more. It was our first safara experience and it's been really incredible: Becks and Andres are extraordinary guides, the atmosphere, both in the morning that in the night, was so magic with colours... My husband and I just returned from spending four wonderful nights at N'kaya Lodge located in the Thornybush Game Reserve.
