We (a family of 4) spent 3 days at the Lodge and had game drives at the area. Services were excellent, staffs were friendly and helpful, cleanliness was very good (I just do not like the color of bathroom floor - dark color). We also had friendly attentive ranger and tracker. Food were good taste although they were something different... More

We stayed for 2 nights, so did 4 game drives. The whole place was magical. Rooms were cosy with a charm reminiscent of times gone by. Staff and décor made you feel very special. We saw loads of animals and our guide Allan helped make it a real adventure. Everyone staying was raving about how good it was, and many... More

Stayed there for two nights, wished had stayed longer! It gives the feel of the old and charming times of the Safaris gone by! We stayed in the family suite with its own private pool, a two bedroom and two bath little homey feel. Loved the shower with two sided glass walls looking into the bush, second best to showering... Ngala Safari Lodge was our first stop on a 12 day South African Safari. My husband and I had been to Kenya last year for migration and wanted a less hurried more intimate experience with the large cats. As photographers we had alot of requirements.and expectations. Our experience at Ngala was a photographers dream come true. Our guide Andrew, was... More

This was a first game lodge experience for me. It was thrilling to see so many animals in their natural habitat. Our ranger and tracker were very knowledgeable and friendly. And, the lodge itself was luxurious. The food was delicious. All in all, a wonderful and memorable experience.

Ngala was part two of the best trip of my life (part one was Phinda forest lodge). The lodge is beautiful, the views are outstanding, the staff are wonderful. It was like an all-day marathon of Nat Geo Wild for 3.5 days straight. Very few vacations do I learn as much as I did on this one. I will be... More

This Lodge is fabulous in every regard. The individual tented units give you the feel of being in the wild, but with every possible comfort. Our first morning we could hear the lions roaring and they sounded like they were on our patio. We visited during their winter and throughly loved our heated beds, plentiful hot water, and the heating... More

This was the second game lodge we went to in our holiday and we were slightly worried that our experience at Kirkman's camp would be too hard to live up to. We were drastically mistaken, Ngala owns much more land than Kirkman's and therefore allows each drive to be a whole different adventure. As with Kirkman's the food and the... More

Ngala couldn't have been more perfect during our four night stay there. Everything was amazing, the accommodation, food, staff and ambiance. The twice daily game drives were brilliant, accentuated by the excellence of our driver and tracker whose knowledge of wildlife never failed to amaze me. We saw some unbelievable sights, animals and an incredibly intense kill. As it is... More

I am not even sure where to begin other than we had a world class experience at Ngala in every way possible. Steven the lodge manager greeted us immediately upon arrival with hot towels and cool beverages, provided an informative orientation and information about the property, daily schedule and answered all of our questions. The camp itself is beautiful and... More
