This was a first game lodge experience for me. It was thrilling to see so many animals in their natural habitat. Our ranger and tracker were very knowledgeable and friendly. And, the lodge itself was luxurious. The food was delicious. All in all, a wonderful and memorable experience.

Ngala was part two of the best trip of my life (part one was Phinda forest lodge). The lodge is beautiful, the views are outstanding, the staff are wonderful. It was like an all-day marathon of Nat Geo Wild for 3.5 days straight. Very few vacations do I learn as much as I did on this one. I will be... More

This Lodge is fabulous in every regard. The individual tented units give you the feel of being in the wild, but with every possible comfort. Our first morning we could hear the lions roaring and they sounded like they were on our patio. We visited during their winter and throughly loved our heated beds, plentiful hot water, and the heating... More

This was the second game lodge we went to in our holiday and we were slightly worried that our experience at Kirkman's camp would be too hard to live up to. We were drastically mistaken, Ngala owns much more land than Kirkman's and therefore allows each drive to be a whole different adventure. As with Kirkman's the food and the... More

Ngala couldn't have been more perfect during our four night stay there. Everything was amazing, the accommodation, food, staff and ambiance. The twice daily game drives were brilliant, accentuated by the excellence of our driver and tracker whose knowledge of wildlife never failed to amaze me. We saw some unbelievable sights, animals and an incredibly intense kill. As it is... More

I am not even sure where to begin other than we had a world class experience at Ngala in every way possible. Steven the lodge manager greeted us immediately upon arrival with hot towels and cool beverages, provided an informative orientation and information about the property, daily schedule and answered all of our questions. The camp itself is beautiful and... More

We are still repeating to all our friends how amazing our three nights and four days were at Ngala! Our room was fabulous, with very comfortable bedding and finishing touches and each evening I had a guilt-free deep bath by candle light which was heavenly. Everything you could wish for is provided. The food is excellent and varied, especially dinner... More

After having done numerous safaris in Africa, I thought I had seen (and experienced it all). Ngala Lodge changed it all. And I cannot wait to get back. The service is impeccable, the rooms are comfortable, the food is great. The best part - you feel a part of the camp family while staying here. Our guide joined us for... More

We stayed at Ngala in the lodge for 4 nights recently. The lodges only hold two and as we were a family of four we had two lodges within 10 metres of each other. Daughters are 19 and 17 so that was not a problem. The best part of the holiday was the staff, every member of staff was so... More

Just returned from an amazing 4 night stay with husband and 3 teenage children at Ngala Safari Lodge, South Africa. Everything was exceptional - the staff, food, and lodge itself. We had 2 wonderful guides/trackers (Dyke and Zup) who have worked together for 18 years and know virtually everything about the animals and terrain. The lodge and cottages were beautiful... More
