We had a terrific safari at Gomo Gomo. Everything about our safari was great. This is a small, intimate lodge, with only 8 cottages. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was good, the rooms were comfortable (and air conditioned), and the game drives were absolutely fantastic. Our room had a veranda overlooking the waterhole, so we were able to watch... More

We spent Christmas 2014 at Gomo Gomo and it was the best present we've ever given each other. The facilities are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. The rangers were eager to please, professional and knowledgeable, ensuring that we saw a stunning array of wildlife. A little gem, we hope to revisit one day.

We spent three nights in Gomo Gomo Lodge and are very satisfied with the experience. As the lodge is located close to a water hole it is possible to see several animals close-by (Elephant, Hippo, Crocodile, Giraffe, Buffalo) The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. Specially Lou, Ross and Dean. Overall we highly recommend this lodge!

My only disappointment with my stay was that it wasn't longer! From the very moment I was met at the 'transfer point' to the drop off at the airport, it felt like I was staying with friends who owned their own private safari retreat! Everyone was that welcoming and relaxed. The accommodation left nothing wanting. (It wasn't until after I... More

We stayed at Gomo Gomo for 4 nights in November. Temperatures were wonderful with rain only once and at night, with an amazing electric storm. During the day we had early morning and late afternoon game drives, and a nature walk after breakfast. All were delivered by expert rangers and trackers - Ross, Harry (Potter) and Caswell and Buffalo. They... More

We had a fantastic time in South Africa, particularly on safari and at Gomo Gomo Lodge. The Lodge and staff were great, the food was wonderful and it had everything we wanted or needed without being pretentious. We saw a great range of animals, both on the game drives and sitting on the deck at the lodge, when the elephants... More

We had hoped that Gomo Gomo Game Lodge was going to give us the chance to see lions a lot closer than we had been able to see them on a previous trip to Africa. Wow, did we see them! A visit to a rhino kill on night one was fascinating. The "Ross Pride" had brought the rhino down but... More

Stayed at Gomo Gomo from Oct 25-28 and had a wonderful time! I was travelling with my mom and aunt who are both seniors. We stayed in the family chalet #3 closest to the lodge. Booking was made via Lodge Trackers (Jacqui) who I found on TA. From the moment we arrived we were treated with the best hospitality. Greeted... More

We arrived at gomo gomo after three o'clock out first day so we assumed we had missed lunch. Our guide Ross showed us to a table laid out and brought out lunch which had been kept for us....this was a great introduction to the treatment and experience we would have. We were brought to our room which was room 1... More

It really is a beautiful place. You don't need to go on safari as the animals come to you.... being situated on a waterhole is an amazing location. There is a resident hippo and crocodile. Elephants and impala visit regularly.
