This lodge is quite nice, not overly pretentious and the staff go out of their way to help and make sure your stay is a nice one. If you have a limited time however, I would go for a lodge in Sabi Sands as opposed to Timbavati during the winter months.

Staying at this lodge was one of the best experiences ever! The accommodations are beautiful. The watering hole brings the safari excursions right to your doorsteps. The staff are amazing. The only thing to watch out for is they charge for "drinks". Which means anything that isn't just the fruit punch that is included with meals. That isn't necessarily made... More

I've been to numerous game lodges and Gomo Gomo is still talked about regularly in my house! We loved the accommodations and the shared lodge space is amazing! THE WATERING HOLE MAKES THIS RESORT! In between your game rides or activities it is amazing to sit on their large deck and watch all the incredible animals come to you! It... More

The location is absolutely fantastic, the rooms are clean, the food is good and all the services are excellent. The safaris were grate and the guides are very professional. They took us to see the "Wild dogs" at a remote location and since that animals are very rare to find and hardly can view, it was grate experience once in... More

I only had one night to stay at a safari lodge. I chose to stay at Gomo gomo mainly because of its onsite watering hole. Each day there is some “downtime”. Instead of staying in my room, I would bring a book to the viewing deck and by doing so was able to watch giraffes and herds of elephants drinking... More

Very good value for money. The main advantage was the watering hole, which ensures you could see at least one of the big 5 even if u miss the game drives! Rooms are spacious n we had a good view of the watering hole. Saw the big 5 and watched lioness devouring a kudo. The highlight was hearing the night... More

Just spent a 3 nights here and it couldn't have been a much better stay. The lodges themselves were excellent and very clean. The staff were also very helpful. Saw all the big 5 animals and more on our stay. Only regret not staying here longer, 5 nights would have been ideal.

I spent 3 great nights at Gomo Gomo and I wish I was still there. It was an amazing experience from start to finish which starts from a welcome drink by the watering hole. During my stay I was assigned the lovely Lou as my ranger who, along with Caswell our tracker, seemingly magically produced an array of wildlife every... More

We spent 6 nights at Gomo Gomo at the end of our safari holiday in South Africa. We wanted to relax a bit at our last stop and decided to spend some extra nights, we were glad we did. Our party of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet and and 1 bedroom chalet. Both chalets were comfortable and spacious.... More

We stayed at Gomo Gomo for 3 nights. The Lodge had a good location nearby a dam and is also easy accesible by car. We could sit by the pool and watch animals come by the water dam close by, some days we saw more animals at the dam than on a safari tour. The food was delicious. All the... More
