We had a fantastic time in South Africa, particularly on safari and at Gomo Gomo Lodge. The Lodge and staff were great, the food was wonderful and it had everything we wanted or needed without being pretentious. We saw a great range of animals, both on the game drives and sitting on the deck at the lodge, when the elephants... More

We had hoped that Gomo Gomo Game Lodge was going to give us the chance to see lions a lot closer than we had been able to see them on a previous trip to Africa. Wow, did we see them! A visit to a rhino kill on night one was fascinating. The "Ross Pride" had brought the rhino down but... More

Stayed at Gomo Gomo from Oct 25-28 and had a wonderful time! I was travelling with my mom and aunt who are both seniors. We stayed in the family chalet #3 closest to the lodge. Booking was made via Lodge Trackers (Jacqui) who I found on TA. From the moment we arrived we were treated with the best hospitality. Greeted... More

We arrived at gomo gomo after three o'clock out first day so we assumed we had missed lunch. Our guide Ross showed us to a table laid out and brought out lunch which had been kept for us....this was a great introduction to the treatment and experience we would have. We were brought to our room which was room 1... More

It really is a beautiful place. You don't need to go on safari as the animals come to you.... being situated on a waterhole is an amazing location. There is a resident hippo and crocodile. Elephants and impala visit regularly.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Gomo Gomo for 3 nights. We had read some of the reviews on trip advisor and I can say that our stay exceeded all our expectations. We got to the lodge around 15:00 and were greeted by Ross who would be our lead guide. The atmosphere was very relaxed and because there are only... More

My wife and I stayed at the Gomo Gomo game Lodge October 2-5 this year, and we couldn't have been happier. Ross, our ranger, and Dominic, our tracker, worked so hard to make sure we had a memorable experience. We were checked in efficiently and effectively, after first enjoying a herd of elephants who came to the water hole for... More

We stayed two nights at this lodge. Lodge was located along water reservoir, so you can see animals coming to drink water. Cabin were clean and comfortable. Safari was good. Only problem with this lodge was favoritism one guest over another. My wife is vegetarian and they did not care about that. They took us to airport five hours before... More

After 4 days days of a self driving safari & staying in Kruger National Park bungalows, Gomo Gomo offered us a bit of relaxing luxury. Our 3-night stay provided a different aspect to our week of "going on safari". Accomodations: We stayed in chalet #1, which had a great view of the water hole and was along the side border... More

Out of all the amazing things I did during my time in South Africa, I think it was my stay at Gomo Gomo that I will think of most fondly. As far as safari lodges go, Gomo Gomo is a great value and offers an intimate, comfortable setting that you immediately warm to. I also love the watering hole right... More
