Spent a thoroughly enjoyable few days here. Great location near a water hole, where you can view animals as they come to drink. The individual lodges were private and comfortable, with bath and shower facilities. Food was good and plentiful. Lots of animals to see. Guides annd trackers were considerate and knowledgeable. Particular thanks to Dean and hawkeyed Dominique. Would... More

We spent 4 nights (8 game drives) at Gomo Lodge in August. We self drove there and it was well sign posted and easy to find. Plenty of car parking space. The lodge is located next to a watering hole. There are sun beds and a pool so you can relax and watch the animals arrive. We saw elephants, rhinos,... More

This was our first experience of a safari and the ranger's and tracker's knowledge and passion for their job is clear to see. Thank you Dean, Harry, Ross and Caswell. We stayed 2 nights (4 game drives). Our guide the first day was ok. The second day we were obliged to change to the other group in the last moment (no reason given) and the new guide was just horrible. He was chatting with a partner and driving - nothing else. Definitely not checking if there are animals around. The... More

We travelled SA as a family to take our mother of 75 back to africa one more time. She was the only experienced safari traveller so for the rest of the family this was a whole new experience. What you have to keep in mind for this part of the kruger is that the scrubbery is dense aka lots of... More

This was our first safari experience and we were glad that we chose Gomo Gomo. The rooms are tidied twice a day and were very clean - totally exceeded our expectations. Meals were simple but enough to fill us. The cooks and staff were so genuine and sincere, it was hard to fault them for their efforts, really. We loved... More

There's just one word: wonderful. Lovely people, nature, luxury, food. Wonderful place nearby waterhole where animals come to drink. Luxurious lodges, clean and neat. All people really nice, respectful and know a lot about flora & fauna. Gamedrives really fantastic, saw a lot of animals (lions, elephants, rhino's, zebra's, (dead) giraffe, hyena, lots of birds, buffalo's, impala's, kudu's, porkypines, hippo's,... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in mid July and had a fantastic time, seeing so much wildlife and the big 5 on numerous drives. Overall the whole experience was excellent, with clean and tidy lodges, good food (although little choice) and well informed rangers and excellent guides. The key here is that this is a medium quality lodge, and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our South African holiday. The lodge is a short drive from Hoedspruit aiprort and it is more than likely that you will start spotting wildlife as soon as you leave the airport. We had to give way to a family of elephants crossing the road and were watched from the bushes by a... I have draggged my wife to many exotic/rougher/dangerous experiences. My wife was even tired of the "luxury tent" experience and was just looking to hang out at a lodge where whe could just put up her feet with a drink in hand a watch the animals stroll up to a watering hole. Ding, Ding, Ding, here come the (100+) elephants!... More
