We stayed here for 5 nights in mid July and had a fantastic time, seeing so much wildlife and the big 5 on numerous drives. Overall the whole experience was excellent, with clean and tidy lodges, good food (although little choice) and well informed rangers and excellent guides. The key here is that this is a medium quality lodge, and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our South African holiday. The lodge is a short drive from Hoedspruit aiprort and it is more than likely that you will start spotting wildlife as soon as you leave the airport. We had to give way to a family of elephants crossing the road and were watched from the bushes by a... I have draggged my wife to many exotic/rougher/dangerous experiences. My wife was even tired of the "luxury tent" experience and was just looking to hang out at a lodge where whe could just put up her feet with a drink in hand a watch the animals stroll up to a watering hole. Ding, Ding, Ding, here come the (100+) elephants!... More

This is our second time to gomo having visited in October last year and this really is very special . The location is amazing sat on a water hole where herds of elephant visit daily literally in some instances within touching distance. The rooms are very clean and very much in keeping with the location with all rooms overlooking the... More

My family of 4 visited this establishment over 4 days in July 2014. My comments below must also be viewed in the context of the very modest price per head that we were charged, inclusive of meals, not drinks. SERVICE: It is true that the staff were very attentive and aimed to please – a highlight of our experience and... More

We visited twice - once in 2013 once 2012 - we love love love this place and have been to other safaris (in Madikwe and eastern cape) and whilst these were great the drives and actual safari experience didn't compare. This is a lovely chilled out reserve right in the water - we had amazing animal sightings and lots of... More

Everything about Gomo Gomo is great..the staff are amazing and very knowledgable, the animal sightings were incredible even from the deck overlooking the watering hole. Lots of praise goes to Dean, Tallis and especially Harry and Dom. We will definitely be back!

we are a family of 5 (3 kids aged 10, 9, 7) on our first safari. we had just finished a 2 day self-drive safari right before this. the two experiences were completely different. we saw a lot of animals on the self-drive and many hard-to-find animals in Gomo Gomo. the driver (one of 4 Deans!) and tracker (Dominic) were... We stayed here for 2 nights with a family of 5 (children ages 10,8,6) and could not have been blown more away by the staff, the lodge, the food and the overall experience. Our private cottage was just beautiful...sheik meets camping. Though they are extremely small for intimate experiences, our children were welcomed with opened arms. Our kids were allowed... More
