In November we stayed 3 days there. We had private Safari for our little one is aged 2 years. It is an unforgetable place. The service is higly processional since we arrive until our departure. The accomodation was atonishing, high ceilings, private swiming pool, urge space, very elegant. There is an indoor bath and indoor and outdoor shower that overlook... More

I have been asked how I would rate this experience. The only way to discribe it is better than the best one can imagine. The game drives, the accomodations, the personnel, the food, the level of service are all 5 star +++++. I can not imagine any trip that would be more enjoyable or a resort that provides a level... It is always a treat to be in a comfortable Safari Lodge in an exotic African location with a wonderful staff! The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable and the animals exciting; but it was the friendly and personable staff that stood out for me at this private game reserve. It was a surprise to not only have the workers... More

If an African Safari is on your bucket list, you should definietly consider this lodge. Only 10 minutes from Hoedspruit Airport and 5 minutes from being delayed by two rinos on the road! Lots of wild animals including all of the big 5 - bring lots of memory for your camera - you will run out. The Lodge has 4... More

This is by far the biggest game lodge we have been to. It is more of a hotel than a lodge. The experience is still very good and personalised. The food was good considering that it is mostly buffet style due to the large numbers of people who have to be served. The bush experience was also excellent and you... More

A great experience! Saw the BIG FIVE plus much more thanks to Ranger Clive. Super nice rooms, attentive staff and good food! Everyone should go on a safari like this. Rooms close to the front desk are very convenient. Thanks!

From the time we were picked up until we were dropped back, the experience was just fantastic. By far the best game viewing experience ever. If you are thinking South Africa and Safari, look no further. So folks who made this trip wonderful - Angie, Nadheepa, Kevin, Michael, Thomas, Erasmus and Amos. Look out for them :)

I was a bit hesitant about Kapama River Lodge, given the large no of rooms, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lodge has large spacious areas, and it never feels like you are in a big crowd. The spa and gym area is To Die For. The staff are incredibly polite and willing to assist. Extra plus for the chef,... More

We have a spacious and well appointed room looking out onto the bush. The facilities and in particular the excellent spa are top class. The food is wonderful and generous and the staff welcoming and helpful. The game ranger is well informed and knowledgeable and we have seen lion close to their kill, buffalo and rhino (plus many others) on... More

This is a very nice resort which is all-inclusive except for the drinks (even pop or water- If you want a glass of water you can ask for tap water and not be charged). The food is plentiful, the rooms are nice. The wifi is undependable. I think they should provide robes and have more hooks to hang gear, etc.... More
