We had an amazing 3 day / 2 night safari at the Kapama Karula. It was an amazing stay. They design and feel of the resort is outstanding. Everything has a whitewashed, modern lodge feel and is all new. The lodge only has 12 units so it has a very quaint and personal feel. Every employee knows you. The food... More

It is my family first game reserve visit. We enjoy the exciting game drives (watching lion & lionesses, water buffaloes, elephants at such proximity), good food and spacious family suite with heated pool.

What an absolutely beautiful location! We were overwhelmed when we arrived by how amazing the lodge looked - placed overlooking the river with grazing animals, exquisite decor and fireplaces in the bar and restaurant. The rooms were large, stylish and comfortable with a coffee machine and snacks if needed. Each room has a balcony overlooking the river with glass doors... More

This place is absolutely amazing. From the airport transfer until leaving, everything was amazing. The rooms are so incredible they seem out of a magazine. We stayed in a suite with our own infinity pool, which was heated (important if windy). You can see wildlife right from your deck/pool overlooking the river. The indoor/outdoor shower was incredible. The beds were... More

Contemporary design throughout, this is probably the nicest suite I've ever stayed in, belongs in Architecture magazine. Probably at least 1000 sq. ft. of luxury, Our own pool overlooking a river with game, doesn't get much closer to heaven than this. Indoor and outdoor showers. Ask for room 10. Overall good food but a bit uneven. Good staff. The Kapama... More

Kapama Karula offered us true luxury, as well as superb game viewing and the most knowledgeable guide of our 3 week multi-country trip. We booked a Superior Suite, and boy, was it ever! I wanted to move in and stay forever. With an airy, spacious feel, beautiful natural decor a luxurious bath (indoor/outddor shower & soaking tub) and our own... More

We have just spent three nights at Kampama Karula in one of the "tents". Absolute luxury! If camping was always like this I'd do it more often. The tent was luxurious and very comfortable. King size bed, large bath, tea and coffee facilities, deck, cooling/heating etc. the meals were world class as is the service provided by all staff members.... More

Our family of 4 stayed at Kapama Karula for 3 nights and Kapama Riverlodge for 1. From the moment of your pick up at the airport in an open top land cruiser to the end of the stay this is a first class experience. The Game Reserve is directly across the road from the airport and only a 40 minute... More

From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we knew kapama karula was going to be very special! The drive from the airport was about 40 minutes, Deckson our guide amazed us by the many animals we spotted on the way to the lodge. Once inside the lodge, it exceeds all of our expectations! Deckson gave us a... More
