We fell in love with the Greenfire Lodge the moment we walked through the doors. Kim and Adrian are wonderful hosts and made us feel at home immediately. Our guides were great. Isaac, Adrian and LeeAnn are very knowledgeable and do a great job finding the animals. Isaac has some wonderful stories. We also got to experience his "bush ralies".... More

Greenfire is everything you could possibly want for an African safari adventure. Brilliant managers in Kim and Adrian, wonderful guides including the legendary Isaac, elephants meandering down the river past your "tent" and food to travel across a continent for! We stayed for 10 days (have done this a couple of times) and saw the most incredible game sightings but... More

Your adventure starts the minute you land at the Eastgate airport. The staff treat you like family and want to share with you their home. The lodge is set away from human distraction allowing you to enjoy the natural environment in complete luxury. You will learn so much about the animals as you see, smell and hear them up close.

Took 4 day trip from Joburg, with walking tour focus and loved it. The lodge is new and lovely and very comfortable. Kim and Adrian are very welcoming hosts so this feels like a family owned lodge, rather than a corporate owned one. You really can see wildlife from the rooms. The guides were very good and responded to my... More

We stayed 3 nights here and did not want to leave! I have never relaxed so much. All the staff were amazing, our tent was comfortable and immaculately clean. The game drives were wonderful, Isaac was our guide and he was so knowledgable. He had a lovely quiet way about him. Helping us see amazing animals including cheetah and many... More

We spent 2 nights here in September and loved the new accommodation pods. Perched over a sandy river bed we could lie in bed and watch the animals make there way in and out of the river beds. The main portion of the lodge is on a view point and we loved the topography and having a view below. There... More

My Husband and I went to Drifters lodge for two nights and one day. In this short amount of time we had a lovely experience. Our Guide Isaac spoke well and was very knowledge in his animal tracking. We where very luck to see a grope of lionesses and there cubs. The next morning we came across a group of... More

My wife Kathryn and I stayed 6 days in May. We were in one of the older style tent like cabins which we loved. They are being replaced by more modern units which are well appointed as well. All accommodation units have ensuites. The resort is set in a spectacular setting as well as overlooking an amazing wide sandy riverbed.... More

We stayed at the lodge for 6 nights and loved it. The new chalets are very comfortable, nicely decorated and have a beautiful view. Being 6 we got the two chalets that are very close to eachother, which was very nice and practical. An extra bed was put in each of the chalets to accommodate our kids. We saw an... More

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience staying at the Drifters Game Lodge. The hosts (Kim and Adrian) left you wanting for nothing ensuring guests needs and expectations were exceeded with the quiet decorum of "Mr Wilson". We stayed in the tents which were clean, tidy and serviced regularly. There are brand new lodgings available for those who are... More
