Best place we stayed during our 2,5 weeks in south-africa. The lodge itself is cosy and beautiful, has a pool (which we sadly enough didn't use) and a very nice view over park. Tents are good and the small scale and outstanding hospitality make it a really special place to stay. The whole atmosphere seems to be saying: now you're... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sausage Tree Safari Camp four days in January 2015, and the stay was absolutely amazing and completely unforgettable. First of all, the safari was great and we had some really awesome guides. We saw Big 5 (minus leopard that they had spotted the day before we came) and almost every other animal possible. However,... My daughter and I stayed at Sausage tree in early January and were lucky enough on our game drives to see a huge range of wildlife! The beds were comfy, food was fantastic and all staff were extremely accommodating. Downsides may include the tours which were much more expensive when booked through the lodge, yes it includes transfers, but it... More

We stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience. One of the top places I have ever stayed in! *You immediately feel welcomed into a family feeling. There are only 5 tents (10 people) so it's very intimate. The guests wanted to help the staff, that's the level of community feeling. *The location is excellent with animals walking by... More

Sausage tree was a wonderful break for my husband and myself. It is an owner run camp with every detail attended to. It felt like home from home! My 12yr old daughter was well received by everybody - she loved every minute. Food was great, the drives were amazing, the Gin and Tonics cold - what more could you ask... More

Having done 3 safari trips and having stayed in different places, we would highly recommend the Sausage Tree to our friends. Indeed, the game drives we had were wonderful and we were lucky to see a lot of wildlife thanks to a very efficace tracker without seeing any other tourists on spot ! James, our guide, was extremely knowledgable and... More

My wife me I loved our 4 night stay at Sausage Tree. James and Sunja, the co-owners, made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. James took us on the game drives, assisted by eagle-eyed tracker Themba - both were full of bush knowledge and answered all questions about animals, birds and plants. The tents were great, beds... The stay at Sausage Tree Safari Camp was fantastic. The four of us (2 adult and two children 10 and 13) stayed 5 nights and had stunning game drives and already the second day we were lucky to have spotted the big five. We saw also to killings (lions had caught a zebra and a giraff) wihich was obviously most... More

We were lucky enough to travel to Sausage Tree with a group of people recently. What a great time we had - friendly and really accommodating staff who did so much to make our stay a truly memorable one, nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation and food was great.Lots of sightings and most enjoyable 'sun downers' Many thanks to all.
