We very much enjoyed our stay in the Kurhula lodge. It took us some time to get there. but it was well worth the travel. The location is beautifully located, close to the kruger park and a river in the front yard with hippo's, elephants and some impala's. Our hosts did everything for us to make it a wonderful stay... This was a once in a lifetime experience. From the lodge to the food, to the game drive, to the wild animals we saw in the garden. It was truly amazing! If you want something special you should go to this place!

Simple lodge that's clean with excellent service. The owners are amazingly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They picked us up from the airport for a good price and made us a nice breakfast/brunch the next day for our safari throughout Kruger National Park, The food is cooked in house and amazing. I did not have a mediocre meal the entire stay.... More

The lodge was perfect. Everything we'd hoped for. Elephant chewed through leaves thirty feet away from us and a huge croc loafed around on a mud bank on the river. The food was excellent, thoughtfully presented and skilfully created. Our hosts were attentive and eager to make our week a fabulous one. We will definitely be visiting again in the... More

Our stay at Kurhula Lodge was excellent . The setting was beautiful with the river in front of the lodge . Our hosts were fantastic and very with all aspects of our holiday. The food was superb and being a small intimate lodge added to its appeal.

We stayed with Sanders and Kim for only a night, but it was amazing. Their property and hospitality were spectacular. The property is on the Oliphant river and there was a momma and three week old Hippo in the river. They BBQed out side on a beautiful deck and we lounged in the pool over looking the river. Sanders made... More

We stayed at Kurhula for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The owners, Kim & Sander, make you feel as a real guest and do anything possible to make your stay unforgettable. Combined with excellent food and service this is really a place to come back to.

My friend and I spent a single night at Kurhula Wildlife Lodge and wished that we had booked more. The surroundings in themselves are magnificent with an overlook of the Olifants river from the nice pool. And the lovely owners Kim and Sander do everything to make you feel welcome and well taken care of! Also the superb accomodation, the... More

Great lodge on the olifantsriver. Great view, from your terras you can see the hippo's walking in the river. Very friendly people. Delisious food. price/quality is top. The road to the lodge is a problem for very low cars.
